Fun to look through, with some beautiful works, but not really a lot of instruction. The notes are by the painters, and some are helpful, some are not. Some of the colors used were interesting, and I bought a Prussian Blue acrylic to add to my blues based on a work by Heide Presse (beautiful!) but some of the colors, new gamboge and quinacralone sienna I couldn't find locally.
Trying to study the "bright" works to see how one gets lively tones without working so much in primary glaring colors.
I tried out some of the color combinations in watercolors and was not as successful as the featured painters, of course, but the quick studies were fun.

Amazing paintings. I really liked having a few paragraphs from the painters talking about their technique, inspiration, planning, etc.
