My 13 yr old and I listened to the book today while in the car going to a horse event. I picked the book out moments before we left the house to give us something to listen too. I needed a book that was age appropriate. Cute story and some great characters. We both enjoyed it. Great book to read for 10 yrs and older.
This book is really suspenseful and you never really know what's going to happen. I was also able to relate with Meg (one of the protagonists) as I didn't have the most fun elementary school years. Meg isn't the best student in Middle school. I'm currently near the resolution of the book. Overall I think it's a great book for kids of all ages.
This book A Winkle in Time is a fiction book due to the talk about time travel and the 5th dimension. The book begins with this girl named Meghan her father had been gone for over a year now due to the time travel accident that happened in his lab. Meghan and her siblings decide to try to get him back but when he is found he is much different due to the darkness. After bringing him home he turns back to normal and Meghans family lives happily evr after.
I liked this book. I thought it was a bit confusing in the beginning because I didn't know what she was talking about but as the story goes along you get anxious to find out what is going to happen. I think it is a page turner. I didn't finish the whole book but from where I read up to it was pretty good.
This book is really interesting due to the fact that it takes place in space and through time. I thought it was sort of short, and I wished there was a longer book or maybe a sequel.
