First in a sexy new series featuring four succubus sisters fighting demons and desires.
Jezebeth is living out the centuries as any succubus must-seducing men to survive and corrupting souls to make her quota with her queen, Lilith. But, when she's attacked by a bounty hunter demon, it's a handsome human who saves her.
Noah Halston is a horror writer who owes his life to Lilith. Now he must pay up by eluding the fearsome beasts of hell while escorting a very attractive and tempting succubus safely to Lilith's lair-or else he will forfeit his soul to an eternity of torture.
Trouble is, if he spends too much time with the all too tempting Jezebeth, he may just lose his heart-or, even worse, his life.
Cassie Ryan (a.k.a. Tina Gerow) started her published writing career writing steamy paranormal romance under another pen name. However, when one of her critique partners, Brit Blaise, suggested she try her hand at erotic romance, she gave it a shot! After all, shes not a girl to turn down a challenge of any type. So, she pulled out all the stops and wrote the first several chapters of what would become CEREMONY OF SEDUCTION.
After hearing Audrey LaFehr from Kensington speak on a new erotic romance line shed started called Aphrodisia, at RWA Nationals, Cassie sent in her partial and went back to writing. So, when Audrey fished her partial out of the slush pile and offered her a three book deal, Cassie Ryan was officially born.
Cassie lives in Phoenix, Arizona and besides being a write-a-holic, is a frequent speaker on several writing and motivational topics. "
Jezebeth has been living out the centuries separated from her three sisters in Hell’s version of the Witness Relocation Program. Noah is a simple horror writer turned demon hunter and damsel rescuer when Lilith, the Queen of the Succubus & Incubus, unexpectedly calls in his life debt. Wow, lots of action in this book. For Jezebeth to have energy she has to have sex with a man and can change her image to what the man's dream woman is. But then she meets Noah and he is trying to keep her alive and away from the demon that wants to kill her. Although I did like this storyline and the 2 main characters I had a hard time with Lilith, the Queen of the Succubus & Incubus and her sex scenes with another woman. That was not something I was expecting when I read this and was a turn off for me. Don't get me wrong, I am all in support of the gay community but I don't care to read that. Otherwise I probably would have given the book a 4 star. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me review this book.
Seven hundred years ago, Jezebeth and her three sisters helped Lilith, the Queen of the Succubi, imprison the demon Semiazas. Now the demon has escaped with more than just a simple vengeance plan on his mind for he has something much more dire to set into motion: Armageddon.
Jezebeth and her sisters where some of the first created succubi to follow Lilith. After being thrown out of the Garden of Eden along with Adam and Eve, Lilith, condemned to death, was saved by God's Archangel Enforcer, Uriel. Wanting Lilith to have a family, Uriel gave her the succubi and incubi as well as his eternal vow to provide her with the nourishing sustenance of energy that she requires to live. Theirs is a complex relationship of temptation and forbidden love, one that will make its way into the Armageddon Prophecies along with the four succubi sisters. With news of Semiazas's escape, Lilith sends out four companions to the four scattered succubi sisters. Each is tasked with helping the sisters find their way safely to Lilith's realm and each are armed with a piece of her jewelry that will serve as a safety signal to the succubi sisters as well allow each companion to offer an endless well of nourishing energy.
Confused at first that Lilith would send a human to escort her to safety, Jezebeth soon finds respect for his - Noah's - tenacity and the skilled weaponry he's assembled for their journey. But his cruel remarks and stereotypical assumptions towards her kind make it more of a grudging respect. Having been burdened for thousands of years with the disgust of others towards her race, Jezebeth usually lets the hateful remarks slide but for some reason Noah's disgust is more painful than most. It's Jezebeth's pride that keeps her from succumbing to pitiful desperation for energy while despite the fact that Noah is sitting right next to her, he's the last person she'd ever tempt for sustenance. But once again the human confuses her with his surprising possessive streak and territorial inclinations where she's concerned. One minute the man is looking at her like she's whore-scum and the next he's holding her with barely restrained passion as he forces her to take energy from him rather than someone else. The human is absolutely confounding but Jezebeth finds herself melting each and every time Noah pulls her into his embrace.
Noah, confused as hell where his emotions are concerned, can't help but verbally cut Jezebeth right and left. One moment his pride is chaffing at the sobering thought that Jezebeth's sexual experience far exceeds his own and the next he's falling head-over-heels for the succubi's girl-next-door appearance and straight forward reactions. She tells it like it is in a direct, no-nonsense manner that leaves him with a refreshing sense of exactly where he stands with her even if that stance happens to be somewhere in the whereabouts of outright irritation. There's also Noah's pesky compulsion to provide Jezebeth with the energy her body hungers for. He simply can't stop himself from stealing her kisses as he witnesses the debilitating effects of Jez's low energy. And while he'd like to think its the prodding of his inner good Samaritan, its really his primal need for Jezebeth that has him requiring that she turn to him for her needs. But since he's giving up on keeping up with his tumultuous emotions, one thing Noah can focus on is getting Jezebeth to safety for the more time he spends in her presence the more Noah is convinced that Jezebeth is deserving of his efforts.
No journey is complete, however, without the requisite road blocks and Jezebeth and Noah encounter a plenty. Running with a price put on her head by Semiazas, both Jezebeth and Noah are at great risk not only from the prize seeking bounty hunters that include demons and djinn, but from the threat of the devil himself: Lucifer. Every major player is in the game where the stakes include the continued existence of the human realm. If the idea of Armageddon becomes implanted, the end of days will be upon them all and the succubi have the most to lose for without the human realm, their existence ceases to exist as well. If Jezebeth and Noah don't play by the hidden rules that govern the game, they could be the sole beings responsible for ending the world.
The Heroine:
Enmeshed in a strict political environment that makes the court life of Henry VIII look like child's play, Jez does her best to stay along the fringe of her society of backstabbing succubi and incubi brethren. Opposed to the conniving selfishness of her kind but also accepting of that which she cannot change, Jezebeth is instead kind and caring and if help is within her power to give, she offers it unquestioningly. Armed with a sharp wit, bold straightforwardness and unfailing instincts, Jez does what's needed to survive even if she's never felt the give from a man, only the take. Gifted with the ability to shift her form to every man's desire, Jezebeth doesn't realize the extent of her longing for someone to want her, desire her for her true self until Noah. And while his initial condescension grates sharply upon her heart, his inevitable trust, unconditional acceptance, and brave determination to keep her safe at all costs earns him her love despite that it's a love forbidden and punishable by death.
The Hero:
Noah, who's day job does not include escorting befuddling succubi to safety, is a horror writer. During his research, he accidentally summoned Lilith and became drawn into a world that provides the answers to God, Lucifer and everything in between. It's a writer's dream but there's little time between killing off demons and dodging djinn to stop and scribble down his rampant ideas.
Almost stupidly fearless at times, Noah shows that he doesn't bow down to just anybody including the company of Archangels and succubi queens. Armed with a resourceful intelligence and unwavering bravery, he becomes the human that surprises them all most especially Jezebeth. While it takes a while for his stereotypical assumptions to take a back seat to his heart, when Noah commits it's not half way. Resolved to help Jezebeth, Noah will endure torture and the sure threat of death to save the good-hearted woman that has stolen his own heart, breath and soul.
My Final Thoughts:
SEDUCING THE SUCCUBUS supports a great twist on an old as time story with the help of hot non stop action but unfortunately the romance falls short of this reader's expectations. Noah and Jezebeth are likable characters but they lacked the necessary layers that would have offered more tangible depth and interest to their flat personalities. This result is sadly disappointing given that there's so much room for development. For instance, Noah starts the book off with a healthy dislike and numerous preconceived assumptions where Jezebeth is concerned. More exploration into the root of his cutting dislike of her would have been interesting. Then there's Jezebeth who's supposedly survived since the time of Adam and Eve yet she lacks and emotional and historical weight that would undoubtedly come with a being of her timeless experience. While it's surely difficult to "age" a character to that degree, Jezebeth is entirely too modern and if we weren't told of the extent of her existence, one would never believe that she's older than her mid-twenties.
In addition to the lack of depth of the main characters, the romance is flat. It felt forced with no time for discovery before Noah is already willing to die to save Jezebeth. That's great and heroic and all to want to die for your heroine, but I want to know more about the why and I think that can be attributed to the lack of depth in these characters.
Conversely, Ryan's secondary characters - the Archangels - is where this reader's heart lies. Love, love, love them! One felt the power of their age and knowledge as it poured from the pages with the heavy weight of time. The vast and timeless complexities surrounding Uriel and Lilith's forbidden love and desire is all consuming in its layered depth and erotic sensuality. Perhaps the Archangels, as such powerful beings, overwhelmed Jezebeth and Noah no matter that they're essential to the propulsion of the overreaching plot arcs. And perhaps it's because the reader is introduced to the vibrant and erotic Archangels very early on in the novel they thereby secure the hearts of the readers before they've had a chance to bond with the main characters. In the end, the chips lie where they fall and for me that's with Uriel and Lilith.
Finally the world building. While steady and incredibly interesting, we've yet to truly glimpse what's beneath the tip of the iceberg. Given its surface complexities, I would have enjoyed more information but then again there's plenty of room for exploration within the following series installments so one can't gripe too harshly. But to get to the point, I liked the world as well as the interesting twist on the timelessness of Adam and Eve. Ryan utilizes these age old stories, ones everyone knows, and brings them to life by incorporating into their original tellings subtle but significant twists. Even more awesome, Ryan brings this world to life with simplicity despite the numerous players and rules to the game that she's launched betwixt her characters. Hmm...one could argue given my above thoughts on the romance, that the world building overpowered it but that's not my gut reaction. I simply did not connect with the romance for it lacked depth but there was plenty of room to add those layers. In essence, Jezebeth and Noah just may have been two people that while attracted to one another, lacked that combustion that romance readers crave in their novels.
Honestly, if the romance had been all that I would ultimately want it to be, this novel could have been unstoppable as a stellar read especially once combined with the interesting and intricate plot arcs. But there's promise here people and I have no doubt that this is an author to watch. Maybe next time, I'll fall in love with main characters.
SEDUCING THE SUCCUBUS is a read that I recommend to all paranormal romance lovers especially those who are so into and lovin' the angel scene right now. In that respect, it should not be missed While perhaps not a favorite, this novel will get you through the dry periods and I'm confident that this will ultimately become a series for readers and their prized auto-buy lists. Enjoy!
Seducing the Succubus by Cassie Ryan. This was a very good read with some likeable characters. I liked Jez and Noah. I liked how they were with each other when they first met. I liked the ending too. 4*.
Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3/5 Stars) Title: Seducing The Succubus Author(s): Cassie Ryan Character(s): ― Jezebeth: Brunette, Brown Eyed ― Noah Halston: Blonde, Gray Eyed Setting: N/A Tag(s): Romance, Contemporary Content Rating: POV: Third Person Smexy Level: Hot Favorite Quote(s): ― “I’m going to unwrap you like a package and savor every second.” Overall Opinion: Why was I more interested in the secondary characters than the actual leads? Well to put it simple, the forbidden love and the energy surrounding Lilith and Uriel drew me in from day one, and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to read their parts in the story. Don't get me wrong, the lead characters were likable to some extent but I found it hard to believe they were able to create this 'strong connection’ and fall in love in a matter of days. There was a lack of depth and the romance that developed between them was flat and instant. I honestly wish this series focused more on the Archangels and their story. Overall this series was a enjoyable paranormal romance.
Many centuries ago succubus Jezebel and her sisters aided their Queen Lilith to imprison a demon now that demon is lose and hunting those who imprisoned him. Jezebel is working toward her quota of souls when she is attacked and only escapes with the aid of a human.
Noah Halston is a horror novelist who owes his life to Lilith and she has tasked him with escorting Jezebel to a safe house or his soul is forfeit. Travelling with a succubus is an eye opening experience for Noah and he finds himself battling his attraction for Jezebel.
I struggled reading this book. I had no interest in the main characters. The subplot between Lilith and the angel Uriel was far more entertaining. While the sex scenes were hot I feel it could do with some editing. Honestly give this book a miss. It's been published for years without notice and there's a reason. If the main plot was Lilith the author would have had a much better book.
I received a copy of this book via netgalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Jezebeth has been living out the centuries separated from her three sisters in Hell’s version of the Witness Relocation Program. Using her Succubus powers, she’s been surviving by meeting her queen’s super-high soul quota–every girl’s got a gift, right? But now that a bounty demon is determined to kill her, Jez’s life just got a whole lot more complicated. Noah is a simple horror writer turned demon hunter and damsel rescuer when Lilith, the Queen of the Succubus & Incubus, unexpectedly calls in his life debt. It’s a tough predicament escorting the alluring succubus without losing his soul—or his heart. But if he fails in his mission he’ll either die a grisly death—or even worse, endure an eternity of torture while the demon who hunts Jez kicks off the first of the Armageddon prophesies! Well, this was definitely a twist on some standard tropes! Overall a pretty decent read. I think I would’ve rather gotten a full origin story of Lillith and Uriel as they really drew me in, but definitely worth the read. I recommend. **I voluntarily read and reviewed this book
First let me state that I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review. Also note that this is my first time reading this author, and I hope it won't be my last.
Holy shiznet!!! This story is gr8. You'd think that a story about succubi would be all sex, but not this one. The storyline is of another take on succubi, demons, Archangels, Lilith, & djinn. I usually don't read many stories about Angels especially from or with the religious aspect to it. I'm not a atheist, but I don't like having others push their beliefs of Christianity on me. Any hoo, I love how each of these beings was portrayed. Jezebeth, (gr8 name), is like no succubi I have ever imagined. She's sassy, strong, & caring. This story has so much going on with it that it was hard to put down. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up.
I enjoyed this fantasy smut enough. But I enjoyed the fantasy portion of the book more than the smut writing. However, I am impressed that the hottest scene was the threesome scene (specifically the sapphic portion). Ultimately, I wanted to be more tantalized. I also hate the idea that Jezebeth falling in love automatically means she has to change all that she is. Now that she has a straight white male mate who loves her, she has to deny her hunger. Idk, on one hand it's her choice (which is a theme being that she is owned by Lilith), on the other it can come across as promoting a sort of virginity rocks idea (not exactly of course, but in the same frame.
Jezebeth is a succubus out for a feeding when she is attacked by a demon and saved by a handsome human. She must work with him to survive and make it home to Lilith. Along the way, the two begin to develop a connection.
I was surprised by how much I loved this story. Although the main story is about Jezabeth we get a meet an amazing cast of characters. I found myself rooting for so many characters and when the book was over wanting to see where this story goes.
*This book was provided by NetGalley for an honest review.
I liked the side plots more than the main plot. I enjoyed Lillian and Uriel's relationship but had trouble getting interested and invested in Jezebel and Noah's story. It was hard for me to finish this book which is why I only gave it 2 stars.
**I received an ARC from netgalley in exchange for an honest review. **
2 stars this book was not for me.... don't get me wrong I like my books raunchy, this was a bit too raunchy for me. The main characters were flat and had no real chemestrey. I loved the character Lillith though. Truly a interesting demon/woman. But not enough to continue the series ..
I loved that there was angels and fallen angels and the spicy scenes were good. The back story between one Angel and Lilith was good I loved it but instead the whole running around to get to a portal was super annoying I'm really not a fan of people running like a headless chicken

This book reads like it was the first book the author ever wrote and then rushed to publish without editing. The publication date listed on NetGalley is 5/10/10 but on Amazon and Goodreads is listed as 18/12/18 AND under a different author name. What’s going on? Besides some questionable dates and names this book is hard to read.
I like the idea of the story. I even like some of the characters BUT the grammar and redundancy sucks any enjoyment from the read. Third person narrative can be done well and without using the name of the character whose POV it is for the beginning of every sentence.
The steamy scenes could have been amazing without the use of proper physiological names like labia and penis and mons. Just say pussy, cunt, dick, and cock like most steamy reads. Technical terms are off putting.
Writing is hard. This book had potential and it has bones; however, the execution got away from the author. This review bums me out, I was excited for this story.
eBook provided by NetGalley - it can’t be an arc it’s been published since 2010.
When four succubi sisters stopped Semeizas it triggered the possibility of cataclysmic events that none of them expected. Now the four sisters need to play their part to prevent events from happening and find their way back to their queen, Lilith. Along the way they will be tested, tried and accompanied by a chosen male. Jezebeth find herself in the middle of a demon fight when she is rescued by Noah and together they go on an action filled chase to reach the safe haven of Lilith’s lair.
Cassie Ryan kept my attention with a strong minded succubi Queen, ominous powerful archangels, prophecies, an exciting chase and it is all voiced in a pleasant storytelling. There were two surprises for me in SEDUCING THE SUCCUBUS. One, I found a group of archangels who hit all the right notes; vigorous, sensual, handsome, dressed in leather and strong personalities. These angels, even the female Gabriel, captured my undivided attention. The second surprise was the woman on woman erotic play. Lilith and Gabriel together really could make the sexy and sensual exploration of each other become titillating good, but even more so, feel very natural to their personalities.
The story is told in two major storylines, one where the archangels were giving background information on unfolding events and allowing me to understand the interconnected relationships they have or had among one another. While the second storyline of Jez and Noah’s chase and romance was intertwined with all that went down in heaven and hell it did not captivate me very much. The problem I had with these two separate storylines is not that it didn’t make a coherent story, it was. Yet the archangels; Uriel, Gabriel, Raphael and Michael, the impossible romance between Lilith and Uriel, and trying to understand the bigger picture of what is going on kept my attention way more than the chase and attraction developing between Jez and Noah.
Jezebeth is matter-of-fact honest, she has a quick wit and humor. She is tough for herself but it is only to protect her more emotional side. She meets Noah Halston in a escalating bar fight and he is chivalrous, honorable, he uses his knowledge to create weapons to fight with and becomes quite the knight in shining armor. Both characters are very likable in all their character traits but they never leaped of the pages. They fit together, they have a certain chemistry, they have entertaining dialogues but for some reason it never went beyond me liking them. The romance never really took off and remained on the superficial side. Perhaps because they didn’t take center stage in the story, I felt they were more a part of the overall quest developing than anything else.
What made SEDUCING THE SUCCBUS an entertaining story was the quest unfolding, I loved the angle of the prophecy, the way the archangels and four succubi sisters had or are going to play their role in it. The good versus evil, the power of the free will and the scheming of those who are utterly selfish. The eroticism in spine tingling good, Cassie Ryan knows how to evoke the sensual chemistry between two characters and steadily increase the body heat with hot scenes. Where Noah and Jez attraction romance development lacked substance it is the forbidden love between Uriel and Lilith that pulled on my heartstrings.
The sum of the part in Cassie Ryan’s SEDUCING THE SUCCUBUS contains sexy archangels, a Succubi queen to care for, pulls pounding sensuality and a tension filled plot that whets the appetite for more. Let the games begin between heaven and hell!
Jezebeth is a succubus, who is able to transform into any being to please a man’s expectations. She needs to feed from their sexual energy to sustain herself and that is what she is doing when chaos breaks out. Semiazas, a demon has broken out of prison and a demon bounty hunter shows up ready to drag Jez off to him. Jez and three of her succubus sisters helped their Queen Lilith imprison Semiazas many centuries ago – and he wants revenge. As Jez tries to fend him off, a hero of the human nature comes to her rescue.
Noah is a horror writer who accidentally summoned Lilith when he was doing research for a book. His payment for summoning her and not sleeping with her, is to retrieve Jez, and bring her back to Lilith safe and sound. Always one to research thoroughly, he comes prepared with salt water balloons and a super soaker filled with holy water to ward off these demons. He is baffled by his feelings for Jez – repulsed that she is a succubus and the number of times she has had sex, but still can’t help but be attracted to her.
Besides getting back to Lilith's realm, the prophecy of Armageddon comes into play and the archangels go into strategy mode. There are many rules they all must follow, and even archangels have a hard time following the rules.
The problem I find with Seducing the Succubus is the romance between Jez and Noah – or lack thereof! What this book really showcases are the archangels. Noah and Jez get pushed to the side, all the way over and the archangels steal the show. While I think that storyline is decent, I am really bummed that we never truly get into Noah and Jez’s relationship. Jez has been alive pretty much forever, and Noah is a horror writer. And that is pretty much all we know about their past. The blurb of this book is all about them and doesn’t even mention the archangels. So I was really disappointed in their story. They do have an HEA (happily ever after) – but it makes no sense because you never develop a connection to them. And worst of all, I like them. I feel jipped by their romance.
As I said, the Armageddon prophecy and the archangels bring drama and sexiness into this book. We do learn a lot about their past and conflicts over the many rules that have been set in place for them. Lillith who is “in charge” of the succubi has a nice like her/hate her role and the very smexy archangels know how to put on a show.
So I don’t know what to think about this one. If there was a lot more focus on the main protagonists, I would be writing a much more positive review. But the lack of romance between Noah and Jez is too much to ignore.
Seducing the Succubus by Cassie Ryan Paranormal Romance – Oct. 5th, 2010 4 ½ stars
Cassie Ryan knows how to write sexy characters! Seducing the Succubus is the 1st in her 4 (?!) book series called the Sisters of Darkness. I was blown away by her facile story telling and ecstatic that there will be more!! This is a fast-paced and sensual read that was exciting from start to finish.
In this story Jezebeth is a succubus that feeds off the sexual energy of others. Hundreds of years ago she and her sisters were asked by Queen Lilith to petition Lucifer to imprison a powerful and dangerous demon. But their time is up. The demon has escaped and wants revenge! Suddenly on the run Jezebeth is soon attacked and then rescued by a courageous and handsome human named Noah. Noah owes Lilith a debt and was sent to protect Jezebeth. They both journey to try to find a portal to Lilith and sanctuary. Before the demon and his minions can kill Jezebeth!
The first thing I found so entertaining about this book was how is jumps right into the action. Jezebeth find herself in trouble and it was thrilling when Noah runs to her rescue. (Although the fiery Jezebeth does a little saving, too!) The back story behind the characters and the world filled with demons, genies, and angels was fascinating and highly involving but never seemed confusing. I loved that Jezebeth has the cool ability to change her appearance into whatever her prey most desired. Jezebeth’s street smarts, sense of loyalty and heroism make for great reading. Although she must use humans to survive she isn’t indiscriminate or a vindictive person. She has a good heart that made her more human. This made her relationship with the Noah more believable. I was surprised how much I liked Noah. Since he was ‘merely human’ I thought his lack of powers might make him the ‘lesser’ character between them and their relationship unbalanced. But his courage and sexiness made them a likeable and engaging couple. Plus I could really feel he cared for her. He was a strong character and didn’t feel the need to dominate her or feel intimidated by her powers.
Those familiar with the author’s writing will expect some HOT scenes and while this story does deliver I found that it do not have a many as her previous books. However, when the main characters are together they have a blazing chemistry.
This amazing series is one that will not disappoint! I can’t wait to get my hands on the next installment if only to learn more about Lilith and her tormented love!!
Jezebeth is a succubus fulfilling her obligation to her boss, the Queen of Succubus, by seducing men. She is hiding out from a very powerful demon whom she has helped double cross along with her sisters and their Queen, Lilith. She meets Noah Halston, a horror writer sent by Lilith to bring Jezebeth back to the succubus domain.
Noah is forced to do as Lilith wishes because of his one error. While doing research for his next book, he stumbles upon an incantation that will summon the Queen of Succubus. While dictating the incantation, Lilith appears and instead of spending the night with her as the incantation describes, she spares his life in exchange for his escorting Jezebeth back to her lair.
The first book in a series is always hard to get into, especially when there is a lot world building but I found it very difficult to become engaged in this book. The overall premise is a bit silly in my opinion. A horror writer and a succubus teaming up to fight off a demon who has been chasing her for years. Jezebeth is introduced to the hero when he jumps in to save her from a demon with a super soaker toy gun filled with holy water, something he has picked up during his research of demons. A little push of the imagination is always welcomed with me but in this case it made the first action scene a bit childish. At times the plot seems contrived.
Even though Jezebeth and Noah are the main characters in this book, I became more interested in Uriel and Lilith's forbidden desires. The archangels in the story hold a more entertaining tale in the book and that left me slightly disappointed in the overall story because they are not the main characters. Only curiosity made me continue with the rest of the book.
There is a lot thrown in the book and at times it is a bit overwhelming to keep up with so much information and characters, which is understandable in a first book of a series. My problem with this book, beside the fact that it was not all that interesting, was that there is nothing memorable to the story for there to have been so much going on. There is nothing that stood out to me, which made the book forgettable.
The love scenes are explicit and scorching. This book should come with a warning: Have a glass of ice cold water on hand and a fan. If you are not a fan of ménages, then I don't recommend this book.
My curiosity may force me to pick up the next book but I'm still undecided.
I really loved this book. I almost didn't buy it because of the fact that I tried her first book in the Seduction Series and hated it. Which was sad because I did like her 2 books in her Maiden Series. She has totally changed my mind now. I couldn't put this book down and kept thinking about how I wanted the next one right now. I hope now that she's feeling better she will be able to write the last two books in the series. If you like a good paranormal read and are into all creatures of the night including angels give this book a try.
This was actually a great first book. I loved the character and the plot of the book. I'm not going to go into great detial but, its a fight for the end of the world between Demons and Angels. They demons have to work though the 4 Succubus sisters to make the end come and the angels are not supposed to interfere. Each sister will have a companion who is supposed to help her get home to Lilith the queen of all Succubi.
This was a maybe book for me. I finally got around to checking this one out. After 55 pages I ended giving this one up. I didn't care for Noah's disdain for succubi in general and hated how cruel Lillith was. In the end this one just wasn't for me.
"seksi tanrı biz zevk alalım diye yarattı" o kadar çok geçti ki rahatsız etti sanki kendileri kötü bişey yaptıklarını düşünüyorlar ve bahane arıyorlar gibi hani bildiğimiz için melekleri insan meleklerin işi gücü yok bunlarla mı uğrasıyorlar diye düşünüyor
I thought is was a really good book. The story line kept me hooked, there were other interesting characters in it besides the main ones, and there were some really steamy scene's if your into that sort of thing. I would suggest it.
Miss Ryan NEVER fails to make me enjoy her books! I didn't know this was a trilogy until I picked it up. THANKFULLY I also picked up the second in the series. Now I just gotta find the third!!
Wasn't really that great - plot didn't really flow and it had an odd ending. His profession as a horror writer - really? How would that lead him to know so much about Lilith?
