Teaching Idea: This would be a good book to teach order and sequence. Since it discusses what you have to make the soup and which ingredient goes first.

I use this book to talk about different types of vegetable, colors, and the process of making the soup. It is such a simple book to use to talk about the different types of soup each child eats at home.

This is a colorful book about making yummy vegetable soup.
It really looks yummy and perhaps it might entice younger children to want to "help" make the soup and eat it, too!
