I got this book on KU thinking if I like it I'll buy it, however there's not many recipes in this book that could convince me to buy it. Unfortunately there's a few of my personal no-go's in it - tofu (i can't stand the stuff🤢🤢), deep frying and unflattering photos that do the food no favours in some cases and make it look very unappetising. There are some good points though, the Pomegranate Negroni and some of the sweet stuff sound yummy, but especially the Pomegranate Negroni!!😜😜
A great cookbook for the collection. Lots of ideas for Christmas, covering all different types of food- sides, mains, party food, baking, pudding, etc. I wish there was a Yule log included in the book, but it's a great book nevertheless.
I appreciated the glossary with British vs American lingo (didn’t know what a Swede was!). I liked the pictures and found this a decent vegan holiday book. The eggnog will be tried, and the chocolate chestnut pudding. Love the section on leftovers too!
