Once in a Lifetime
Aubrey Wellington is starting over after a scandal with her late aunts bookstore. A chance meeting with a local preacher has her making amends to people she wronged. Aubrey is about to find that the one person she wronged the most is the one hardest to confront. Benjamin “Ben” McDaniel married his high school sweetheart after being separated for two years. After her death he’s been on a journey of helping others, which puts him in danger. Ben decides it’s time to stop his wondering and stay home but a carpentry job renovating the local bookstore just maybe the answer to his restlessness.
Audrey’s considered a difficult and mean woman. When her job working for the city of Lucky Harbor puts her in the middle of a scandal, she’s determined to change her life. To do that she wants to reopen and renovate her late aunt’s bookstore that was the source of her happiest times in life. Ben’s life was anything but ideal growing up but when he’s aunt and her family made him one of their own his life changed for the better. After the death of his wife, he took to dangerous and world travel but a recent scare bring him back to Lucky Harbor for good. A job renovating the local bookstore brings Audrey and Ben together and the attraction is undeniable. They have to work through their individual pasts and secrets to hopefully figure out that they’re meant to be in a relationship.
