Consisting of three brothers and their first cousin, all surnamed Followill, the quartet from a God-fearing Tennessee background has conquered the music world on their own terms. They have audaciously mixed elements of classic rock with grunge, garage and a very contemporary attitude. The result is music that has found a ready audience between 15 and 50. In addition, Michael runs a fanzine in honor of legendary Welsh psychedelic rock band Man called The Welsh Connection which is circulated to a small but fervent fanbase on a bi-monthly basis.

Nie spodziewałam się po tej biografii wiele, kupiłam za kilka złotych w dyskoncie spożywczym. Jednak po biografiach muzycznych, które dotychczas przeczytałam, reagowałam zawsze pozytywnym zaskoczeniem, ponieważ z każdej "wynosiłam" dużo ciekawych rzeczy. Tutaj niestety jest garstka ciekawostek, mało komentarzy od autorów, bardzo mało własnych analiz, a raczej odgrzewanie wywiadów i wypowiedzi artystów, które tworzą historię. A chyba nie na tym polega pisanie "pełnowymiarowej, rzetelnej biografii" jak zostało napisane na okładce z tyłu.
