There were misprints in the books; in one case, an entire page printed twice in two different sections, which annoyed me. The book was done as a series of interviews with people who have worked closely with the artist, and while some of the anecdotes were funny, it seemed that a lot of the same information or questions by the author were repeated over and over again.

Particularly:
"Il est séducteur?" Oh, come now. If the book doesn't plan on giving up tawdry details, why even ask, repeatedly? The man is a brilliant musician and composer. His virility is not on trial. Then again, perhaps it's a cultural thing that I'm not privy to. It just seemed silly.

Hard to actually get through when it's not in my first language, and not interesting enough to hold my attention. When this is my favorite musical artist, that's saying quite a lot.

Benjamin? Amazing.
This biography? Not so amazing.
