I really like this Daily Book of series. Last year (2014) I read the Daily Book of Art, in 2015 I read this book, and in 2016 I will read the Daily Book of Classical Music. They all have the same format: 10 different authors, each writing ~36 short pieces on some segment of the broader topic. There are ample illustrations (As one would expect) but on most days I also did a Google Image Search to find more examples.

I am not a photographer, nor have I been inspired by this book to become one, but still I found the book quite engaging and interesting.

I hope the daily book folks come up with additional books for future years of my d1aily reading.

Bought this out of a bargain bin. An OK book, but a bit confusing as to its audience. It ranges from basic photography information to interesting historic references to seemingly random photo thoughts.

It's a bit of a 'bathroom reader' for newer photographers.
