SOLD Conveniently lists in alphabetical order and cross-referenced, lists the personalities, immortal and semi-divine, the places and the magic objects that illuminate the Irish psyche
I chose to not rate this book because it's more like an encyclopedia rather than a legit book with stories. I thought this would have a more cohesive, story-like compilation of classic or basic Irish mythology and how the stories intertwined, but it was not. It was an A to Z listing of characters, places, and things that are considered part of Irish Mythology. Although the listings give a synopsis of their stories and what/who they are, it is so clinical that it's hard to see the legend within the words. If you know what you are looking for and need the basic overview of that thing, then this is a perfect pocket-size guide. It is not meant for you to learn the mythology from scratch. I did learn things though, so I'm grateful for that.
