As someone who watched many of the .hack anime series, read some of the manga, and played some of the games (although a while back) I found my enjoyment was dulled at times as a awfully dark Kite in particular made me wonder what I remembered versus what is satire but eventually I was able to finally get into the frame of mind to enjoy it more even eliciting a chuckle from time to time. Honestly although I did enjoy many of the 4koma comics it is the joke companion at the end of the book that I really enjoyed with Inumaru's tales the best which were not 4koma (and such could offer more space for jokes.) :)

As a big .Hack fan, I really enjoyed these silly little stories. Don't know why Kite is such a dick, though.

Not the best rpg/mmo mangas out there, the story isn’t that good but I liked the character designs and art was pretty good😁❤️🎮

It was only okay. The art was cute and some of the jokes were pretty funny, but a lot of the gags fell flat and I didn't even care about half the cast. The GU+ material greatly overshadowed the other casts, which is a shame since I like the GU+verse less out of the .hack series.
