Navarane tells readers that the origins of Rajputs aren't very clear, and that the term Rajput wasn't used to denote a particular tribe of people until the 700s. He reveals that after the collapse of the Guptas, the White Huns slowly began to integrate into Indian society, and the leaders of those tribes were assimilated into the Indian Kshatriyas, probably becoming the first Rajputs.
