This book seems a little dated today, but in its time (1988) supplied a necessary corrective to scholarly comparisons of Shakespeare and Ben Jonson. I am interviewing the author for my "Talking Books" column in Shakespeare Newsletter, so it would be unfair to my editors to say more here.
