need more of Sloane !
I can’t believe I was in this book rooting against characters I love from previous stories ! I cheer when Victoria kicked her ass in the Creed books and was pissed Victoria kicked her ass in this book 🤣🤣 I only don’t like that this was a novella please write a part 2 of Kon finding out she alive !! We keep reading about Tahira Raji but we don’t have a book on her either. It’s been a while since this author released a book and I hope to see more soon !

I see you Phoenix, I see you!! You did the thing with this book. As always the drama was top notch 😁. I truly enjoyed reading about this woman who turned her horrible past into a present that she dictated. Sloan and Kon were great together. I'm so glad I picked up this book. I can't wait to read more because I know it's coming!! I highly recommend this 📚. I loved it and you will too. 5 🌟

Honestly, I read this book to get me another dose of Taylor and Creed—I love this couple, if I have to endure other characters for a glimpse of this power couple, so be it.
Even if the main character is a female assassin named Sloane who has been tasked with a contract to kill Rosemary Creed from a contractor richer than sin. I'm not a fan of criminal women, especially not ones that take on contracts from the wrong side of the equation for me—which is not the government, an entity that is not so innocent but the lesser of many evils.
Yes, I know this is the way it works, BUT I wanted her to verify before proceeding and may I be frank—Sloane had the luck of the Irish. She was in situations that she shouldn't have made it out of. I need more Kon, and honestly I was waiting for him to become a corpse. I kept thinking, never trust a Black Widow!

Sloane lived a tragic life
She never failed at her hit jobs and was excellent at being the Black Widow until her last job. She bit off more than she could chew when she confronted her mark and the mark's father. It was her undoing. All she could think about was how she was raised and how Rosemary Creed's father did not deserve to take another breath. He reminded her too much of the man who raised her. In a way, she was killing him gain.
This story was very interesting. Sloan and Youko's relationship gave her feelings of real love and care from a man for the first time in her life. But now, maybe she gets to live a more purposeful new life. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for both of them. Will Yuoko find out she lives? Or will he take his revenge as he plans? I can see a series being written about them.

Good read 📚
It was a lot shorter then all the other books 📚 in the creed series....sad that Sloane didn't get what all the other main characters got in the other books. I thought she would have gotten to become friends with all the ladies and her relationship with Kon would have been like theirs. But this wasn't the ending I was expecting so to say I'm shocked and didn't get the full feel of this book.....I'm hoping that there will be another book the way it eneded can't be the end.......I still enjoyed the book and the main characters I'm just hoping there will be more books to follow now that Sloane vidal don't exit any more......what will Kon do once he finds out if he finds out.......

black widow lives to fight another day
Sloane was cold blooded and a killer for hire. She took pleasure in the pain of others depending on who they were and what they did. Her life had been full of dysfunction and abuse. Once she took on being an assassin then she became the hunter. Master Kon is a very connected and powerful man who isn’t afraid of anyone or anything. These two cross paths and it’s combustible. He wants more from her but knows that she doesn’t have it to give. She’s on a mission to take out a key figure and has to succeed at all costs. She’s playing with fire with this mission and she’s the one who will get burned.

Well I wasn't expecting this....
What a lovely surprise to add to a brilliant series. The stories from Phoenix Daniels books are intertwining with clever twists and plots and I love these two characters. Sloane the sexy French assassin and the handsome Japanese, Kon, who is intriguingly mysterious.
I can't wait for their love story...please say there will be a love story for them??!!!
A must read even if you have not read Beautiful Prey series or the spin off Creed, read this novella, to wet your appetite and I guarantee you will want more!!!

Fantastic read!
So good to read Sloane’s story. Her perverted childhood and teenage years living with a pedophile contributed to making her who she is. Even though she was a killer, she still had a soul hence her involvement with Owen, the serial killer and getting justice for the women he tortured and killed; saving the woman being publicly abused by her husband. Not to mention her relationship with Kon. 😰😰😰 I hope there’s more to their story.

Very interesting story.
This story was so different from the others books (Creed & Storm series). Even though some of the people from those series are in this book, they're not even the second characters in this book. Sloane was something else. I love what she did to Owen but I couldn't warm up to her except for her horrible childhood. Hopefully that will be a second book since this left you hanging.

I’m sad…
This was really good. Sloane’s life was so miserable. From an infant to the age of 18, she lived through things the average person would not be able to survive. As an adult she built and controlled her own life. Then she meets Kon and experiences a whole new world. Can’t wait to see where the character goes from here.

Excellent
Oh this is a must read I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. The storytelling is soo good, my there is so many twists and turns, I did not see that coming wow. This is one of my favourite author's, her work is always so good, my only complaint is I want more of it ;-). I recommend you will not be disappointed.

Hot***mn!!!!!
You can't let us hang like that... !!!
No spoilers... so all I am saying is Sloane is not your girl next door and Kon is not Master Kon for no reason. This book is short but packed with action and will keep you wanting more.

Bigger storm brewing
Looks like an even bigger storm is on the horizon for the Creed family and friends. It was good seeing friends standing up for each other, Victoria didn't play. I like the beginning of a connection between Sloane and Kon and hate that it ended the way it did. But it'll be even more pleasurable if they would reunite.

I'm not really sure how I feel about Sloane. I'm not sure I like her. I understand her situation but she's not a very likeable person. And there were a lot of points that were made with no resolution. Several "what happened to" moments.
