Those are the words Kostya Sokolov lives by. His father was murdered by a Russian mob boss, then his brother was targeted by the same cartel. Now, he has vowed to avenge them and fill the streets with blood.
Then an assassination attempt leaves him with amnesia and a lot of questions. What is he doing in London and who is Maya, the beautiful woman taking care of him? For once in his life, he allows himself to trust… Until he realizes she’s the daughter of the man he has vowed to kill.
Maya fled to London to escape her family. The last thing she wants is to fall in love with a member of a Russian mob—especially one who wants to kill her brutal father. But despite his violent plans, she’s drawn to him. There’s something about his unflinching loyalty to his family, his fierce determination, and his piercing eyes… She can’t deny the smoldering attraction between them.
But how can she fall for a man who is set on killing her own father?
Bella Ash is a dark mafia romance author. She loves writing dark, alpha heroes who find themselves obsessed with their strong, sassy heroines. Her stories are filled with action, suspense, steam—plus captivating anti-heroes and the woman who can’t help but learn to love them.
To you, dear reader, she promises intense emotion, edge-of-your-seat action, and always and forever an HEA that will leave you satisfied and smiling.
Bella lives with her family in Chicago and loves to go on old Mafia tours to find as many little tidbits to use for her books as possible. When she’s not writing, she loves to spend time with her handsome hubby, go to Broadway shows, or drink way too much dark coffee.
These super fast Sokolov Bratva books by Bella Ash were really fun, unputdownable mafia stories that can be enjoyed by a variety of readers. This book included some insta love by a very surprising character- Mad Dog Kostya who was nothing but all harsh lines and threats in Book 2. In this book Kostya goes to London to enact a plan to kidnap Maya, the estranged daughter of his family's enemy. He gets jumped in the alley by her apartment and she finds him with a headwound, taking him back to her apartment and nurses him back to health. He wakes up with temporary amnesia and by the time he remembers who he is and his mission, Kostya realizes he can't do anything to hurt Maya and vows to protect her from a father that now seems to be after her. The book is a very fast read, and goes quickly through just a couple days in London as they work to take down Maya's father. There's some spice, adventure and just good old fashioned romance to keep the reader going until the end. The end included a quick peak into her next series which looks fantastic!.

Hmmmmm. Yes, well. Okay, then. I was hoping for more out of this series. I got a really good first book, and the second two just fizzled off for me. They weren't bad books. Don't get me wrong: this was not a bad book. It just didn't hit all the things I wanted, and some parts felt rushed. I think this book could have been more with more words and polish. I feel like the characters needed more time with each other than they did. It was fun, though--just not the best mafia romance out there.
I'd read this one to finish up the series. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it just on its own. It would be a hard read with all the things that are going on, regardless. It has some good entertainment value, but there was something missing.
Maya's been on the run from her dangerous mafia father for a few years now. She finds a man badly beaten not realizing he's her family's enemy. Kostya Sokolov knows who murdered his father and came to London on a mission, a mission he no longer remembers. He vows to keep Maya safe not knowing she's the enemy's daughter. Wow what a story I love how Kostya has a softer side, he's not all murder and mayhem, after all his reputation is the Mad Dog Enforcer for the Sokolov family. Maya is a gentle soul, how did she ever survive her father's world, her sister Elena was spoiled brat, and she felt she had no one after her mother died. Her father wants to bring her back into his dangerous vengeful world to hurt his enemies. Her love and compassion turn Kostya world upside down, open his eyes to the possibilities of a love so strong, a woman to stand by him and his family forever if only she can escape her father who's out for revenge and murder. Loved reading this. It kept a smile on my face as Kostya fell hard and fast for his soulmate Maya. I like who Kostya is. Wise, strong, talented as well as facing his new emotions. Maya a generally gentle soul was able to turn Kostya's life upside down and open up a new world of love for him. She was not shy around him and was not afraid to challenge him to his face. I am so happy for Kostya. He deserves a happy life with a woman who loves and is loved deeply. Excellent story of danger and betrayal of family.

This author has knocked it out of the park AGAIN!! Deadly Knight is Kostya and Maya's story. It's flaming hot, dark and dirty. These two definitely shouldn't want each other, especially once they know who the other is. But what can you do? This story is gripping and absolutely enticing. There's no way to put it down until you've finished. Kostya and Maya, as with the previous books, carry us on an incredible journey. This entire series has been positively delicious. And although you could probably read each book on their own, I would highly recommend reading them together. You won't be sorry!
Another action packed mafia romance with a cast of strong characters centering on Maya and Kostya. The author does a terrific job developing their story and building the relationship. She pulled me in with all of the action, suspense and sizzling romance and kept me glued to the pages from start to finish. Her scenes are painted perfectly and the story moves fluidly. I loved reading their story and loved how she brings it to it's conclusion. Highly recommend this book/series.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Maya left her family years ago and works in London helping the homeless. When she finds a beaten Kostya near her home she takes care of him until he regains his memory. When she finds out that Kostya is the muscle of his mafia family she only sees him as the kind and sweet man she has become to know. She is the older sister of Elena and she is in danger from her evil father but the Sokolov Family steps up to save her and Kostya.

This is the third book I've read written by Bella Ash; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is the third book in the Sokolov Bratva Series; it can be read as a stand-alone book. The story is about Maya & Kostya; she’s the daughter of the Russian mob boss that he’s out to kill to avenge the murder of his own father and brother. After an attempt on his life he has amnesia and she is the one taking care of him.

This is another enthralling story, fast-paced, full of mystery, and drawing the reader quickly in with a story line that won’t slow down. The characters are familiar to those who have been reading the series! Maya is an amazingly strong character that never gives up. She is also loyal to those she cares about. Grab this exciting book and immerse yourself in a really good, action-packed book that definitely delivers! So far this has been such an awesome series!.

Deadly Knight is book 3 of the Sokolov Bratva series . This is Konstantin Sokolov’s (Kostya) story. He is known as the Mad Dog Sokolov because he shows no feeling and does as ordered. Maya Popov left her family 6 yrs ago to get away from that life. Kostya wants revenge on Anatoly Popov for murdering his father and plans to kidnap Maya to use as bait to get him. An awesome addition to this series. A well written storyline and characters that draw you in and keep your interest.

Redemptive romance at it sweetest. Maya and Kostya - lost memories and found love. Bella Ash has written a heartfelt story based in the dark violence and vengeance of the Mafia/Bratva world, but she pulls it off with aching emotions between our two characters. Maya's charm and "goodness" is never trite or cliched but instead rings true when held in stark contrast to Kostya's mistrust, anger and unfeeling beginnings. So good!.

Kostya is out for revenge when an accident left him with memory loss, and in the care of Maya. Maya doesn't want anything to do with her fathers buisness and she shouldn't be drawn to Kostya the man whose after her father. But neither can deny the attraction between them. Well written steamy mafia enemies to lovers romance.

Reading the previous books are a plus but not required. Kostya was in London to find the missing daughter of his enemy, Maya Popov. Well she found him first when she came across him in an alleyway after he was attacked. This story happens within days so it is almost an insta love type. It can feel a bit rush but still entertaining.

Kostya is beaten and left for dead. Now he doesn't remember why he's in London. Maya helps him after finding him in an alleyway, and knows enough to not call a doctor. Maya is my favorite MFC in this series. She's finding her own way as an advocate for the homeless, far from her father's violent life. And she's not afraid to challenge Kostya. There's violence and danger mixed with kindness and love. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the conclusion of the Sokolov Bratva Series. Not necessary to read them, but characters are mentioned. Maya and Kostya come together after a tragic meet and bond, they have instant chemistry, and the story takes off from there. I loved this series because it was mafia-lite. They are quick-read books, not dark, easy to keep track of the characters and storyline and have good spice. I will be adding the series to my reread list.
These Sokolov boys fall fast and hard, Kostya is no exception and Maya fell just a quickly. Maya was as far removed from the Bratva as possible, while Kostya is the enforcer of her fathers enemy. Romeo and Juliet mafia like continues. This book had a touch more violence, but was still very light and sweet. I am curious if there will be a story about Nico though.

Good read. Kostya is the “enforcer” for his family, Sokolov mafia. Maya saves him and he seems to be indebted to her. Instant attraction full of drama. She’s hiding from her father, Anatoly Popov. Read book 1 to know the history between the families. Love the series… must read.

A book you can read fast and easy, Deadly Knight brings a closure for the Sokolov and Popov families. All the ends are well tied—the book didn’t leave room for speculation. With some action scenes and good transitions, this story is a good end for the series.
A good round up to the three book series. Kostya wanted to take matters into his own hands and sort the problems out for his brother what he didn’t anticipate was literally sleeping with the enemy. Will he be able to send by what’s he promised?.

Another enjoyable read from this author. This is the third book in this series Sokolov Bratva. The story will keep you interested all the way through to see what will happen next with these two. The characters fit well together and have amazing chemistry. I enjoyed this book and the previous ones. You will enjoy them.
Another fantastic read! I was immersed from the very beginning and with the fast paced story I just couldn't put it down! There's plenty of twists, revenge, family and passion throughout. You will follow another perfectly matched couple work the different obstacles. Enjoy this riveting page turner!.

Maya and Kostya are dtawn to each other, despite the awkwardness of the circumstances. Meaning her father is his enemy and he wants nothing more than to destroy him. The have a huge attraction but again her father rocked his world when he went after Kostya's family. Love this.
A fantastic end to the Sokolof Bravta series. Loved how these two met and how their relationship developed from there. Really enjoyable read. Will recommend.
