My little brother, who’s 4 years old, really likes this book. He asked me about a lot of things, even though it was a very simple question about horses, swords, ships, and mortars. I personally find this book amusing with a lot of visual references, including the architecture, engine designs, and especially paintings. It covers quite a big major event that's been happening since 4000 BC in Egypt until today, covering the introduction to warfare. Perhaps one thing that becomes my disappointment is that this book doesn’t really include the Southeast Asian culture. I'd actually love to know more about Indonesia, my home country.
