Thank You, Lord, that You are my Redeemer. You are my Creator, the maker of all things. Thank You that You are a God of restoration and I can be built up and restored to complete wholeness. Thank You that I can be filled to overflowing with Your healing love and goodness. Lord, I pray that You would take the broken pieces of my life and make them into something beautiful. Take all that has been wasted in my life and turn it around to count for something good.

This is a fantastic book for those of you who are part of the Christian belief system. Prayers are classified by what you may be going through or what you need at the time, and there is short scripture to accompany each prayer at the bottom of the page. Stormie has a way with words. The prayers are so sincere and realistic, often saying exactly what I wish that I could say but have difficulty coming up with the words to express (and often adding more that I couldn't have thought up on my own). I highly recommend this book to people who feel they need to pray more and may need some guidance and/or reminders to do so. I recently purchased this one for a friend who believes but has a hard time remembering what she has declared is important to her. Hope this helps!

Stormies prayers are always very helpful...sometimes when i need to pray this little book kick starts me...it has many diverse prayers topics....
..i have had it for many years and i still use it when i feel the need to ....stormie is an amazing writer and uses her own life to reveal how god has helped her in her family relationships....with so many marriages and families breaking apart we all need strength to pray and not give up.....

Great book of prayers for those like myself who are reintroducing themselves to a life of prayer. Will read it all the way through as a type of devotional then I will be keeping it on hand for the times when I need it! The prayers are organized by topic so it is easy to find one that meets your needs.

This is a good book. It is the only other book besides the bible of course that I can go to and feel uplifted whenever I am facing a problem, need encouragement or just want to feel God's love.
