Sales is all about negotiation. Price. Delivery. Terms.
And every day, salespeople leave money on the table. They just don't have the skills to get what they want. Now Stephan Schiffman, drawing on years of experience, shows you how to nail the sale, hit quotas, and boost the bottom line. Schiffman-style negotiation is all about getting the best deal. And he outlines specific techniques to get there.
Things can be tough out there. But with Schiffman's negotiation skills in your pocket, you can do battle and win.
This is written by America's #1 corporate sales trainer, it definitely had to be good. There's money on the table, always, and do you need to learn how to negotiate. This is all about how to get the best deal and how not to fuck one up. Learn how to stretch that thin line that exists between closing a deal and losing a deal. It is a small packet of sales training.
If you want to learn about negotiating, this book is a good start. I’m not someone who’s good at sales so reading this book gave me a good insight on how it works. I will continue to read self help -business sales books. I like to learn and sharpen my skill.
I enjoy Stephan Schiffman's writing style and thus enjoyed this books as well as "Cold Calling Techniques." It is just another book, but he just brings to light a lot of simplicities one takes for granted and therefore cannot capitalize on in a business situation. Quick, easy, informative read.
Abrasive, old-school, cheesy, and easy-to-read. Waste of time for anyone who is already making a living in sales. But that isn't me, so I plowed through it in an hour and consider it a start. Much of it is blindingly common sense, but I got a tad of direction from it. Back to the library with thee!
