Throughly entertaining and thought provoking, 'First Rose' by Mary Barton Wilcox. The imagery of Mary's words pull you into the story! It is a lovely journey and really touches the heart. It is a touching and beautifully written story about one persons idea of what heaven could actually be like. Mary uses scripture to back up her words but yet leaves the readers mind open to picturing what they think heaven could be like. Each person is bound to find numerous parts that touch their hearts. What might heaven be like? We all know God has a place for us...have you ever tried to imagine it? Mary has and she has shared her insights with us.
'First Rose' is an excellent book to be shared with friends, sisters, mothers, daughters or to be read as a group for an adult Sunday school class or a book club.

A wonderful book that is full of hope and joy. Finally a book to read that is not full of sorrow and pain.

Very well written taking you on a journey through God's City. Nothing boring about the journey that you read about. You are invited to use your imagination while examining what God has prepared for His children.

Have read it more than once just for the enjoyment.
