Wow! Hang on to your hats! The final book in the Balance Keepers series is amazing! Illuminating the Darkness took me on a rollercoaster of training and demon fights, devastating family challenges, and a romance trying to find time to bloom – in the middle of chaos. I have seldom seen Life reflected with such honesty and clarity – because the timing on events outside our control is rarely neat and orderly. Tragedy occurs at a time when you just Can’t stop what you’re doing. Great sorrow and great joy can be nearly simultaneous and you don’t know what to feel.
I’m a little sad the series is at an end, but I’ll watch for more the Author. Perhaps she may even visit this story world again.

Wow! If you wondered what would happen to Evie and her friends, read this book! It has all the elements of a good fantasy along with a powerful message. Very well done!
