This fascinating espionage thriller is an adrenaline-fueled, rapid-paced, up-all-night impressive creation by Don Kesterson. It is a great read, and WWII history is woven throughout the pages. His protagonist, Army G2 Captain Jarrett Webber, must accept the project designed for him to travel back to 1942 in an untested German time machine-Die Glocke, without his military unit, to resolve the present-day plans of the country's menacing antagonist, German SS Lieutenant Colonel Adolf Eichman's plans to reverse the outcome before they can occur there and alter the future of Germany. Kesterson's story has transformed this cozy mystery advocate into a sci-fi fan.
I was looking for a WWII time travel story. Don Kesterson tells a good story. The writing and background is all good. Certainly the characters are well conceived and the drama is high. But misspellings and poor wording in some places cheapen the professionalism of the story. I like Time Travel stories and this one is fairly unique and a good read. Check it out, but be prepared for the off-putting spelling and phrasing errors.
