Reporter or not, there's an air of mystery surrounding Sable Wagner-- something addictive and uncontrollably magnetic that Matt can't shake. Whether it's her nagging ability to show up at his fights and get under his skin or Sable's dismissal, Matt can't get enough. But he doesn't know about her secret alter ego. About Madame E, the dominatrix at the local sex club. And he can't know. Sable's dream job depends on anonymity. When Matt's MMA world collides with Sable's cash supply, he shakes up a lot more than a few secrets. Two Doms work in a fighting cage, but can Matt apply the rules of submission to the woman he loves? Or will he lose it all by falling in love?
I have an addiction to books. There I said it, isn't admitting it have the battle. I have always read everything I can get my hands on. My greatest joy is writing a review for a fellow author that has blown me away. When I set down and decided to take the leap to make my life time dream come true and write a book I was terrified, but in a good way. Publishing a book is the most thrilling thing I have ever done. That's with having 14 grand-kids. LOL!
It’s written from both a male and female perspective (which is extremely difficult to do).
They both navigate working as a sport reporter and an MMA fighter as they also attempt to create some sort of a relationship between each other.
I was captivated from the first chapter!(Which is rare for me!) These 2 seemed to truly have a true passion, not only for each other, but for their careers.
Reading how they each took care of each other’s needs was truly heartwarming and definitely inspired me to believe that men truly COULD be better (yes, even the assholes).
I think the person I might be the most obsessed with throughout this book is Gabby, and she truly deserves the world. Every single person in the world deserves a friend like Gabby. She will fully support you but also let you know when situations might negatively affect you. Even if your “Gabby” disagrees, she is still there as backup, and ALWAYS as an internet detective to ensure you are safe. (My own personal Gabby is Christina).
I feel as though I was led into this book with the assumption that there would be more power play (Dom-Sub) than there was. Unfortunately, I believe that the reason I didn’t give 5 stars. It felt as though Sable didn’t truly get her FULL Dominatrix persona represented which, as a woman, felt disappointing. I really wanted to experience what it meant to be Madame E. I especially would have loved diving more into the backstory of Sable and Miss Sally more than some brief mentions.
At the end of the day, with the positives and the negatives, I would absolutely recommend this book to someone!

I have to say, there's something compelling about two opposite sex alphas fighting over power (maybe because I'm always going to be an alpha in life), and we definitely got that in Craving Submission. Matt is a MMA fighter, so he's all things alpha that's for sure (goes with the territory), and he finds himself drawn to Sable, a reporter by day. She's a glorious alpha in her own right, and I couldn't have loved her more, but Sable has a secret profession by night that no one can find out about or it would ruin her achieving her dream. They can't stay away from each other, and the sparks are flying but that doozie of a secret won't stay secret for long. Craving Submission has a level of anxiety with the secret that won't make friends, action of MMA fighting, and a ton of sexiness between our two alphas! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
In this latest addition to the Players & Sinner series, Nancy Chastain introduces readers to Matt Jacobs, MMA fighter extraordinaire and the object of his desire, Sable.
At first I thought this was going to be a whole dom/sub thing that I am so removed from nowadays, however the author did a nice job at balancing the storyline with a little action, as well as a little angst.
It is lust at first sight for Matt and Sable that turns into much more as their story goes along. I liked these characters, each strong willed in their own way, yet watching out for each other. The book is well written and there is quite a story packed into a few pages when it’s all said and done.
I really enjoyed reading about Sable and Matt. Sable is sassy, and knows her own mind and isn't afraid to say what she feels. Matt is a cocky MMA fighter and used to getting whatever he wants but dislikes reporters. He finds that Sable is a reporter and he's fighting his attraction to her. Sable is finding her feeling for Matt. Sable has a secret that no one can find out. Sable and Matt are getting closer. What will happen to Sable and the career she wants as a sports reporter if Matt and the public know about her other job? Theses two are perfect for each other, there is so much action and steam. I love the story. I plan on following the other stories in this series.

I am really enjoying this series!! All set in the same world but each by a different author. Chastain is a new author for me but I really enjoyed reading her addition to this fabulous series. This time we get MMA fighter Matt falling for Sable a reporter with a doozy of a hidden secret. This makes things quite interesting as things play out keeping you hooked the whole time making for quite the enjoyable read. I highly recommend it for fans of the genre. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Craving Submission is a steamy, high stakes romance that perfectly blends passion, power, and secrets. The chemistry between Matt and Sable is electric, and the twist of her hidden life as Madame E adds a delicious layer of tension. I loved the contrast between Matt’s fierce MMA world and the seductive, dangerous allure of the club. The characters felt raw and real, and the story kept me hooked from start to finish. If you enjoy romance with intensity and a strong storyline, this one is a must read!
Matt is an MMA fighter and he dislike reporters, that is until he meets Sable and suddenly it is lust at first sight. Despite his lust fogged brain there is something about Sable that just does not add up in his mind and he wants to figure it out. The is suspense and enough dom and sub action to keep you entertained to the very last page.
The ultimate switch spice! Matt & Sable are everything you didn't know you needed. Incredible writing, a fun plotline with well rounded characters. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend.

Craving Submission (Players and Sinners Collection) brings lust as a sin. A spicy romantic read entwined with a dash of suspense and MMA sports. The characters are engaging and entertaining. The epilogue was the final submission between the dom and sub. Entertaining read.
