First of all, I loved the cover 🤭
This is an age gap story.
Nolan is in love with his daughter best friend, Rose.
Little he knows that she's in love with him too, for a long time...
It's funny, sweet and sexy.
Not hot, it doesn't have many spicy scenes.
It's a fast and enjoyable reading.

I really enjoyed this novella! It's a best friend's dad romance with little drama and lots of steam.

Forbidden Romance

Rose and Nolan have secretly wanted each other for a long time, but their situation is taboo. Nolan is Rose’s best friend’s dad. He’s older than her and the relationship could jeopardize their friendship.

They have been able to deny their feelings for each other, until Rose moves in with them. The close quarters adds strain to Nolan’s control and soon nothing else matters except their mutual attraction. Very steamy.

Overall this story was a fun taboo fantasy. Entertaining read.

The age gap of nearly twenty five years in this book was just a little to great for me. Perhaps I could’ve accepted the age difference if he’d only just met her but she’d been his daughter’s best friend for years so he’d seen her grow up and been a part of her life which made their romance just a little too icky a scenario. Saying that Rose of the title was definitely no innocent even if she was a virgin. She targeted Nolan right from the start with little thought for her friend. The poor man didn’t stand a chance.

This is only the second book by this author that I have read. I enjoyed the first book. This book? I had mixed feelings. For starters the title is a little deceptive. Rose is definitely not an "innocent rose." She came into their house knowing what she wanted and not afraid to go after it. The inner monolog from both of these two was a tad annoying as well, especially Nolan. He wants her, he can't have her. Over and over again. While I wasn’t a big fan of this book I did think the writing was pretty good. I'm actually intrigued to see what else Ms. Rose has up her sleeve.

Rose has lost the only parental figure she has ever had when her grand father died, knowing that she cannot stay in the house where he died, she accepts an offer to move in and live with her best friend Liz and her dad Nolan. There is only one problem and that is the fact that she has been in love with Nolan since she was a little girl and from the looks, he has been giving her recently she knows that she is all grown up now. She knows that she wants him and what she feels for him is no crush but a real love but is she willing to sacrifice her lifelong friendship only to be rejected by the only man she has ever loved?

Nolan knows that what he feels for his daughter’s best friend is more than just affection and having her move in to his home after her only relative passes away, suddenly she is everywhere he turns and his feelings for her are becoming impossible to hide, so when they share a moment that leads to them sharing an intimate moment, he knows that they have crossed a line that can never be undone. He does the only thing he knows to do and pushes her away, but Rose is determined to make him confront what has happened between them. This was a sexy, taboo read that I have come to expect from Darcy, her books are a perfect way to escape. This book it’s so hot
Rosa just lost her grandfather and had agreed to move in with her best friend Liz and her dad Nolan. The only problem with that is Rose has got the biggest crush on Nolan, she has done for years and now that she’s 18 she feels a bit more daring.
Nolan had seen Rose blossom into a beautiful young lady and he couldn’t help but feel a pull to her. He never acted on it because of the fact that she is his daughters best friend and her age but now that she was under his roof he knew that this was going to get harder and harder to not be tempted to show his feelings.
Oh boy do they give in to their feelings I’ve got a say in such a short book the passion, the connection and the chemistry it is just beautiful. Rose is very new To passion as she is a virgin but Nolan is only too happy to bring her into the world of extremely hot passion. But how will Liz feel?? Absolutely lush.

This story is hot and steamy. Nolan is a single father to his 18yr old daughter Liz. After the passing of her grandfather, Nolan and Liz have her best friend Rose move in. Rose has had a crush on her best friend's father all her life.

Nolan has a strong attraction to Rose who has grown up to be a beautiful young woman who is also caring. The two fight their attraction for one another because its forbidden and not to mention wanting to destroy Liz.

But this is a battle that must be lost because the two have great chemistry and give into their lust.

I loved this book! It's very short (I read it in about an hour), but very satisfying nonetheless. I am not too much into age-gaps, but this one was so well-written I couldn't help but fall in love with Nolan! I hope Liz gets her own book someday... in the meantime, I pre-ordered Cupid's Arrow, also by Darcy Rose, because of how much I enjoyed this book! I recommend it to anyone in search of a short romance novella...

Being that this was my first time reading one of Darcy Roses books , I was honestly not really sure what to expect. But man am I so happy I took a chance on this amazing story . Filled with all the things a great romance should entail , wonderfully written characters, angst , off the chart’s chemistry, tragedy, heartbreaking and heartfelt moments, family , friendships, unexpected surprises , and two of my very favorite tropes in romance - age gap and best friends father . I honestly cannot remember the last time I devoured a book as fast as I did this one . I have definitely found myself a new favorite author

In this book Rose moves in with her best friend Liz and her father Nolan after her grandfather and only parental support has passed. The house she lived in as a child she owns but she doesn’t want to live in that big house alone when she is in love with Nolan. Nolan has been noticing Rose for quite some time, but he is ashamed of himself because he considers her a child at 18 and she is his daughter’s best friend. Willing being in the house together drive these two closer together? How will Liz handle the fact that her best friend and her dad are in love? There are some steamy moments in this book.

A short, sweet and steamy read which focuses on Rose (FMC) and Nolan. Rose is Nolan's daughters best friend and theres also an age gap between them. Both of which are a problem for Nolan but when she moves in with them living with her makes things difficult for him. As well as bringing up the sexual tension and making it steamy as hell!! I liked this quick read and the characters in it.

The only problem is that Nolan has the hots for the eighteen-year-old girl. And what he doesn't know is that she has the hots for him. I love this author's work but didn't really enjoy this one as there wasn't really a story.

This was a great book. I really enjoyed Nolan and Rose together. These two have a great connection and chemistry but Nolan tries to fight his feelings for his daughter's best friend. This was a great forbidden age gap romance that will leave you needing some water! I can't wait to see what is next from Darcy.

Straightforward no drama story. They start doing naughty things separately that turns into doing naughty things together. Nolan and Rose have reservations due to the age gap and her friendship with his daughter Liz. It does interfere with his relationship with his daughter, but not in the way I anticipated. It is sad that Rose really has no one besides Liz and Nolan.

I love this author. Great writing, steamy, line pushing, wonderful charters and easy to fall into. I do like how the stories are on the shorter side, so it’s easy to slip into free time.
