Short, simple but meaningful book.

Reading this book makes me feel better about how to cope with my busy life while finding a calm and peaceful mindset.

“Turn, and you will see your light”.

This is my first time reading Ustaz Mizi Wahid’s book but I loved how the words were well resonated with me. A great read and I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I do!

"Addressing the matter does not mean that we will find solutions or that it will go away. However, it is still so much better than pretending that they are not there. This is because when we pretend, we will be carrying this heavy baggage of worries all day."

"Whenever something hits you, remember that you have a choice to choose how you will respond to that particular situation. This choice is in a split-second moment—between the moment when something hits you and the moment you respond or react to it."

"You do not need somebody to make you feel loved. Instead, you need to be happy on your own first. When you are happy with yourself and on your own, then you will have self-belief. You will not be overly insecure. Later, when you find someone whom you are comfortable with and have fallen in love with, you will never feel like you have lost—even if that person decides to walk away from your life later on. This is because your value was never determined by them. Your value was determined before your relationship. You already knew who you were. If you feel sad and restless, then ask Allah (s.w.t.) to strengthen your heart and give you the peace and resolve you need to keep going."

I just finished this book and was amazed by its depth and wisdom. Many quotes moved me, but these three in particular stood out. I strongly recommend this book to anyone seeking guidance and inspiration on their life's journey.

A handy book with meaningful messages that reminds me how to be at peace with myself, how to handle life crisis, trials and tests Allah has blessed me with. I have lost almost everything He has initially given me in life, yet reading this lifts my spirit up and to never ever give up hope . I am still learning to let go and trust ALLAH, and this book will be my daily pick-me-up on difficult days.

Ustaz Mizi, consistently, touches my heart with his simple words, from heart-to-heart and relatable feelings. If you are always feeling down, low and feel like all hope is lost, this book can provide tranquility and how to be at peace with your heart.

Short, easy to read and very enlightening. I’ve always enjoyed Ustaz Mizi’s writings because it’s very down to earth and always relatable. Some may feel less alone after reading the book especially after reading the questions and answers section.

Recommended reading especially for Ramadhan.

Betapa diri kita masih perlu untuk selalu diingatkan, bahkan untuk hal-hal sederhana –yang saking sederhananya justru seringkali terlupakan.

Melalui buku sekecil ini, misalnya.

Such a short reminded book. Deeply touched by ustadh Mizi's wise words.
