This book was just as good as the other two in the series. Cult of Lies starts off where Deadly Aftermath ends. You know the characters and how despicable they all are. This was a edge of your seat page turner just like the other two. Spencer has done it again. I recommend all three of these books based on the twisted things that teenagers do. I am so glad I don't go their high school. And if I did, I would make sure to be friends with all of these characters. This series is a must read for not just young adults but for everyone who loves a good suspenseful thriller.

Really enjoyed reading

I always enjoy this author. This trilogy was a fun read. Youths dealing with adult situations. Bullying and manipulation at a young age influences adulthood. There was such depth in these characters. Great read.

This book was a strong wrap-up to the series and did a great job keeping the suspense going until the end. Throughout the book, the tension and mystery kept me on my toes, and I found myself constantly trying to figure out what was going to happen next. The stakes felt higher in this installment, and the twists made the story feel intense and unpredictable.

I also appreciated how the author tied together many of the lingering questions from earlier in the series. It felt satisfying to see things come full circle while still maintaining the dark, suspenseful tone the series is known for.

Overall, this was a solid conclusion that kept the momentum going and made the series feel complete. If you’ve followed the books leading up to this one, it’s definitely worth reading to see how everything unfolds.

This trilogy took me on an unexpected journey, growing darker and more intense with each installment. What began as an intriguing story slowly evolved into something far more emotional and gripping, layering tension, heartbreak, and suspense in a way that kept pulling me deeper with every chapter. By the final book, the stakes felt heavier, the emotions sharper, and the story far more haunting than I ever anticipated. The conclusion was executed beautifully, tying everything together while still managing to surprise me. The ending was absolutely jaw-dropping — the kind that makes you sit in silence for a moment afterward, trying to process what you just experienced. It left me completely speechless and lingered with me long after I turned the last page.
