Pedal Steel Guitar Chord Chart

Rate this book
This is a handy, easy to read chart that shows the basic E9 pedal steel guitar chord forms. Each chord is shown in a special pedal steel diagram form. Major, minor, dominant, seventh, diminished, and augmented chords are shown in the keys of C,D,E,F,G, and A. In each of these keys the three primary chords in the relative minor keys are also shown. An additional special feature is the inclusion of a pedal steel tuning chart for E9 tuning.

This is a great reference chart for basic pedal steel guitar chords. The chart is a laminated two-pager, and it contains diagrams showing which combination of strings, pedals, and levers create major, minor, dominant seventh, augmented, and diminished chords in several different positions across the neck of the guitar. It's very handy to keep in a pedal steel guitar case as a quick reference when you're first learning the instrument. Unfortunately, the chart does not include more complex chords such as major and minor sevenths, ninths, and suspended chords. The chart assumes a standard three pedal/four lever E9th copedent.
