Marsipity is a cute book about Halloween. When two kids celebrate the holiday. It is a wonderful book to read to your kids for the holiday.

I read this because it was on my to read list for years from when my friend's husband illustrated it. I finally purchased a copy and got to reading it. It is a children's book, it shouldn't have taken me so long to read it. I did read it to our 15 year old daughter in bed. The illustrations were great, but some of the pages the rhymes didn't line up and rhymed in the middle of sentences, not at the end, so those were awkward to read. Other pages the rhymes lined up fine. It was pretty inconsistent so for a first time read, outloud, that was unexpected.

If you're looking for that perfect children's book to get you into the Halloween spirit, than I recommend picking up Marsipity. Nothing can be more charming for Halloween than eating a special piece of pumpkin pie that leads to an unforgettable, magical Halloween adventure.

This cute story is written in rhyme which makes it really engaging for younger readers. Bringing this story it life are some simply adorable illustrations that will captive both young and old readers alike. These whimsical pictures have Marsipity changing from a witch to a flower, teddy bear, a comet, apple and more as she and her best friend Marlin going trick or treating.

Don't miss out on Marsipity! With Halloween just around the corner, I highly recommend picking this book up!

It's a sweet story, with or without the Halloween theme. Marlin and Marsipity are friends for life because they've shared some important moments. Poor Marsipity gets sick and has to miss Halloween. Marlin tries to cheer her up, and then together they look forward to the next Halloween all year long. Marlin never could have guessed what surprises Marsipity had in store for him!

On a personal note, having watched my own sick child miss most of the holiday celebrations for about a year, this storyline warms my heart.

As a writer, although I feel there are a few spots that could be smoothed out, I have often wished I could pull off this much whimsy. Bravo!

"Marispity and Marlin are friends for life you know."

I love this story. Sure I am a little bias because I illustrated it but it is a fun book. The serendipitous name of the book is so clever. Great book that springs to life because of the bewitched pumpkin pie.

This is such a cute story with great pictures. I think my favorites are the ones where she turns into a teddy bear and when she is a comet. Just a fun kids book.
