Neighborhood Bible Studies guides are used by small groups meeting at work, in homes, in churches and schools. By using questions from the study guides people in these groups can share equally the responsibility of discussion leadership, producing a high level of participation and learning. Churches use the materials in three to develop an outreach program of Bible study with two or three members forming the core of a group; to give electives within the education program for high school and adult level, providing an elective of content (Bible book studies) and a method (discussion rather than lecture); and to build support groups within the church fellowship to encourage spiritual nourishment and growth.
