Molly Durant has been in love with Richard Grant since she was a teen. Richard has always treated her as a kid, but she-s never given up hope that he would someday notice her and claim her as his own. Then Molly met Alan Zimmerman and felt an identical kick to her lust-o-meter that Richard inspired. When she discovered the two men were D/s and members of a certain club, Molly planned a most Brazen Seduction. Richard has always told himself his best friend-s baby sister, Molly, is off limits. When Molly appears at Reckless Abandon, a submissive to be auctioned to the highest bidder, Richard knows he must win her. But another wants Molly and believes she was meant to be his sex slave. And he will stop at nothing until he has her exactly where he wants her. Will Richard and Alan claim Molly as their mate, or will time run out?
Morgan has been a writer since she was first able to pick up a pen. In the beginning it was a hobby, a way to create a world of her own, and who could resist the allure of that? Then as she grew and matured, life got in the way, as life often does. She got married and had three children, and worked in the field of accounting, for that was the practical thing to do and the children did need to be fed. And all the time she was being practical, she would squirrel herself away on quiet Sunday afternoons, and write.
Most children are raised knowing the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule. Morgan’s children also learned the Paper Rule: thou shalt not throw out any paper that has thy mother’s words upon it.
Believing in tradition, Morgan ensured that her children’s children learned this rule, too.
Life threw Morgan a curve when, in 2002, she underwent emergency triple by-pass surgery. Second chances are to be cherished, and with the encouragement and support of her husband, Morgan decided to use hers to do what she’d always dreamed of doing: writing full time. “I can’t tell you how much I love what I do. I am truly blessed.”
Morgan has always loved writing romance. It is the one genre that can incorporate every other genre within its pulsating heart. Romance showcases all that human kind can aspire to be. And, she admits, she’s a sucker for a happy ending.
Morgan’s favorite hobbies are reading, cooking, and traveling – though she would rather you didn’t mention that last one to her husband. She has too much fun teasing him about having become a “Traveling Fool” of late.
Morgan lives in Southwestern Ontario with a cat that has an attitude, a dog that has no dignity, and her husband of thirty-six years, David.
Better than quite many erotica, despite the accumulation of hackneyed clichés. Let's start with the one too many clichés: the heroine is the little sister of the hero's best friend, so off limits despite her being 25 or so; the hero is a former policeman with a huge protective streak, the heroine is a blushing redhead, the heroine unfortunately attracted the attention of a real-mean perverse; everyone falls in love with everyone almost from the start, even if they do not really know each other. What I liked: the writing was finely edited and brushed. I really liked the moments when the heroine or the second hero, ie. the hero's lover, talked or dealt with their jobs, accounting or interior decorating, it seemed very realistic, down to earth and helped ground the characters in normalcy. The hot scenes were overall very steamy, though I sometimes felt their ending too abrupt. Last thing that really irritated me: the hero had a foresight that his girl was targeted by the perverse redhead abuser and serial killer, but it took him so much time looking at all customer profiles in the club, before thinking that it might be useful to look at the one other serious bidder at the auction where he did "purchase" Molly. And the owner of the club, who supposedly did thorough background checks on his patrons, better revised his procedures. As usual, this hint of suspense was a total miss for me.
I actually enjoyed this despite it being a little predictable. It has some erotically sexy and romantic scenes exploring a wide range of possibles between the three, as told by Morgan Ashbury, which are good, and the book generally has a robust standard of English and is well edited, which is a bonus. The story goes from two delectably described bisexual males in a m-m relationship but wanting to broaden their horizons to a polyamorous menage. Molly a young, lovely redhead has set her eyes and heart on Richard the Master and Alan his sub. She forces their hand at an auction and so the relationship gets off to a slightly fiery start. The interesting and psychological twist is how Morgan has the loving Master- subs and menage relationship showing the goods and positives yet runs alongside of it the very real problem of a Sadist...wannabe Master, who is psychologically twisted, with psychopathic and sociopathic tendencies and shows the dangers to subs, in this case red haired women from their potential harm and death by becoming involved with strangers outside of a well controlled and regulated club. She is to be congratulated on reinforcing this safety message, and I'm happy giving this 4 stars. I will also read more of her work.
I’m a spoiler. Not because I want to discourage/encourage anyone in reading this book. I just want to write the highlights for me to remember by in the future. (There are really instances when I forgot about the story and I don’t want to waste my time in re-reading books that have bad plots.)
It is good that the book explained some BDSM points (e.g. from the players to the extreme). But I felt that this is still a smut and not And be aware that some scenes have Still, liking this book is subjective. ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
Very very light BDSM, basically she's auctioned off. This is another one of those, "can't see you as a woman because you are my best friend's sister". I never really understood this mentality. Then again, I don't have a brother. My sister married her best friend's brother so I don't see the problem. This was a short easy read.

I really loved this book. Molly loves Richard and Alan and auctions herself hoping that Richard will win the bid. They are perfect together. I love the suspense Ms Ashbury has in this book. But the love story is fantastic.
