A great way to jump-start your career in pharmaceutical and biotechnology sales!"Be brief, be bright, be gone" is the philosophy that launched David Currier to a successful career as a pharmaceutical sales representative. This book is a little dated when it refers to some of the technology that is used in the industry. This book was published in 2005 and the new Phrma Code came out in 2006 so I also think it gave misinformation about giving out office equipment to physicians and their staff. But this book does give a great overview of the details of the job. It's written by a pharmaceutical rep trainer and the book is read like you are in training. He gives you basic tips about all aspects of the position including how to organize your car on sales calls.
I'm an experienced rep. This book is aimed at a newbie so it didn't really give me a lot of new ways to improve my performance. Saying that, if you are new to the business it's an easy read with some good basic ideas. Have a second set of keys around, keep sunglasses in your car. Suggestion on organization etc. if you are brand new to the industry, it's worth a read, otherwise I wouldn't recommend it
