Roger Hargreaves was a British cartoonist, illustrator and writer of children's books. He created the Mr. Men series, Little Miss series and Timbuctoo series, intended for young readers. The simple and humorous stories, with bold, brightly coloured illustrations, have sales of more than 85 million copies worldwide in 20 languages.
My favorite Little Miss book thus far. Little Miss Magic is wonderful. When she tells something to do something, it does it. She is magic and if I could be a Little Miss, it would be Miss Magic. In this story, she helps Mr. Happy get his happy back and teaches Mr. Tickle a lesson or two. haha. It's very cute. She is the magic.
I convinced my nephew he wanted to read this because Mr. Happy and Mr. Tickle were in them. He loved this one and he didn't like it when Mr. Tickle was punished. He likes it when characters get away with things and are sly. He gave it 4 stars.
Dans ce livre, madame magie aide monsieur costaux, monsieur petit, monsieur étourdi et monsieur glouton. Je ne me suis jamais autant reconnu dans un livre.
Little Miss Magic has lots of potential for any sort of crazy antics to occur. Instead, she magically makes breakfast before the book turns into another story of appeasing Mr Tickle's multiple assaults around Mr Men land.
The menace can't be stopped, instead an agreement is made for him to only commit one assault a day.
One of these days Mr Tickle will get what's coming to him, but today is not that day.

I love the idea that Little Miss Magic only needs to tell something to do something. It simply does.
Obviously Mr Tickle is one of my favourite characters from the series, but with him being out of control tickling everyone then it's understandable why Mr. Happy had to step in.
I've said before how I like other characters in the series popping up in other books and lots are mentioned here!
I wasn't sure on Little Miss Magic's methods in trying to solve the problem, though ultimately it seemed to work with a funny final gag.
Ah, Mr Men and Little Miss, how wonderful you are!
These books made up so much of my childhood. No matter what I would go ahead and pick one up. I worked my way through them all a couple of times. Each one has a wonderful story for the child to engage with, each character being fun to read.
Everyone has a bias for their favourite character, yet every book is delightful.
I absolutely loved these Mr Men and Little Miss books. I remember getting them from my granny every week. There was so much from these simple characters, I remember filling my little bookshelf with all these books making sure I had got them all in right order. I wish I still had these books but somehow most of them got lost with many house moves or my mum gave the rest away. If I ever have kids, I will make sure they get the chance to experience these wonderful, colourful books.
I loved all the Mr. Men and Little Miss books. When a friend gave us this one for Christmas a few years ago, I was taken back years! It is so fun to revisit childhood books; it brings good memories and feelings.
Original stories and characters created and illustrated by Roger Hargreaves. My boyfriend got me this because I'm magical! It was fun to read it together.
I loved this book. The Mr. Men and Little Misses was always an interesting series. There was an adaption of it on TV years ago. That's where I heard of the series. It's a fun book, read it and you'll like it.
My friend's eldest chose this in Waterstones yesterday and I read it to her when we got back. I always loved the Mr Men and Little Miss books as a child but hadn't come across this one.
Little Miss Magic is a good one as she has magical powers and helps Mr Happy cheer up. She is firm but fair and Mr Tickle features too! As always, the illustrations are great and it is helping a 6 year old learn to read.
I normally like this series, but I don’t like how the main character, little Miss Magic, takes away Mr. Tickles’ ability to tickle and then makes the condition that he can only tickle one person a day. How is that fair?

Little miss magic is so magical and whatever she says for something to do it does it. For instance in this book little miss magic shrunk mr tickles arms and she told him she could only tickle somebody only once a day and then she made the arms grow
