The problem with Hubbard’s writings:

- Purposeful confusing of audiences. It is generally accepted that writers (especially non-fiction and non-academic) should write in an easy to digest style.
- The creation of new words or redefinition of words - classic red flag for cults. The idea is to purposely confused basic audiences so that those who feel like they understand after all their clay demos feel smarter than the average person when all it is some gibberish from a bigamist who lied about his whole life. This is especially true when you constantly have to define words you already know. Did LRH never hear of context clues?
- The only valid things from Dianetics seem to be common knowledge gathered from an introductory psychology class (which Scientology hates)
- This book was removed from the Scientology book offerings

Fantastic book. Really helps you understand why children can be such a challenge. I love the way L. ron Hubbard speaks about children. It is so refreshing as he knows they are just people in smaller bodies.

Lots if applicable doctrines.
