About the author

Robert Enright was born in North London and resides in Buckinghamshire with his wife and daughter, working earnestly to write for a living and dreaming of the day he can get a dog.

He is the author of the international best selling Sam Pope series as well as the DS Jack Townsend series.

Fighting, justice, for a rape victim.

Sam had found happiness for a few weeks with Mel and Cassie her daughter, someone he unexpectedly met while living in Scotland. Cassie was grumbling about a rich playboy on the news who had yet again got away with raping another young women, he would be celebrating he had been found not guilty, this had upset Cassie and Sam started to take notice and ask questions, that night he found himself on a train to find the culprit in the middle of celebrating and give him an ultimatum. Another great book.

I know I’m hooked on a book series when I worry about the characters.

I ended up reading throughout the night as I couldn’t put the book down where I was so worried about Sam Pope at one stage and couldn’t see how he would find his way out of his situation. Can’t wait for book number 11.

When you come up for air you wonder if you took a breath all the way through. Happiness Never Lasts... For Sam

Sam finds peace and family once again...until he hears the call again. Someone has got to look out for everyone but as usual there is great physical cost, exceeded only by the emotional cost. Can Sam save the day without losing himself? It is not easy.

Just another trip to do the right thing

Again great read. Sam is doing the right thing and helping people closely involved. A little different story line with his girlfriend and daughter but, still accomplished good results without consequences of them getting hurt. Good help from the police in the right way.

I have read 10 of these books in the series and The story is very good and each is a separate adventure in Sam Popes mission To make a difference.The only Criticism I have is that Sam’s history is retold in every book but just not a couple of lines but pages of repeated dialogue which makes me want to skip a chapter or two. I felt I needed to point this out to any future readers

Just loving these books , thoroughly enjoyed each one . The recaps are a little frustrating when you read one after the other, as it’s recapped in every book which I have found myself skimming over to get pass it. But the books have been very enjoyable, if only we really had a Sam pope .

Sam rocks

There's something about Sam. He has a character, integrity and sincere belief in the good people among us, though at times the good seems lacking.

Putting it this way....Sam is a better guy than any of my ex-husbands

Sam Pope is addicting

You can't help but enjoy reading another of his adventures even if it does get a little sappy. Its a fun old fashion good guy bad guy story that keeps you up half the night waiting for the next bomb to drop. Totally enjoy this series. Makes ya feel good.
