Saving water is a nonfictional book about water. The readers learn about the properties of water and the endless cycle it goes through every day, all year. We later learn more about how water is stored here on earth and how much we rely on having clean fresh water. The book then changes into informing us about what is happening with the water all over the world and what the consumers can do to reduce the waste of water. At the end there are more information about pollution, garbage and what effect that will have on us, both directly and indirectly. On every page there are stop lights to remind you to stop and think or to encourage you to take action and change your habits to save water or energy. At the very end there is a glossary, where content specific words are explained, and an index to make it easier to look up different topics.
