Ladd’s photos of Lake Powell, and the surrounding area, are magnificent. The colors, the reflections, and the pure natural beauty will bring you back to these photos time and time again. Anne Markward provides accompanying text, but her pieces tend to be circular, encouraging people to get outdoors and see the amazing world around them, but then discouraging humans from destroying our pristine planet. I would skip those.

I bought this book when I met the author who visited the Arizona Highways photographic workshop I attended in Page, Arizona.
The author contributed both photographs and text to this book. He includes photo tips and safety principles for Lake Powell.
I recommend this book for tourists and photographers who have an interest in this area.
