This was volume I of a two-volume custom course book set that Lee Fennell compiled for her Property students some years ago. It is no longer in use. It was wholly composed of excerpts from Aspen property casebooks by other authors.
Ok, first off, big fan of professor Fennell, will be glad to take her Fair Housing class next quarter. However, Property as a topic just doesn't move the needle for me. Seems too focused on learning rules, as opposed to understanding the justifications behind the rules (a la torts or crim). The casebook had its moments (racially restrictive covenants, zoning, fair housing). It also had its low points (most other things). Will again emphasize that I think Professor Fennell is a wonderful teacher.
