Our world seems increasingly rickety and uncertain. There is no end of things to fear. And yet, I’m convinced that we are being called into a safe-place in the Spirit where there is peace, sanity, fruitfulness and provision for all we need. A place of immunity. Getting there, though, can feel like a scary jump. In a day when its fashionable to “pose questions while offering no answers” these poems are unapologetically prescriptive. They hold out no hope for the rickety scaffolding of human constructs. They suggest that to take that “blind leap of faith” is really not blind at all. The voice of the One calling speaks only good-news.
