Visiting: 100 Portraits

Rate this book
In this series of one hundred color photographs, I set out to visit with friends that I have met throughout my life. I wanted to create a photograph that documented our time together. During our visit, we would talk about the time since we last saw each other. I found these interactions to be much more authentic and genuine than the most commonly used social media methods. There is something to be said for two people sitting in a room, face to face, asking how the other is doing. Taking a moment to really say hello is a very powerful experience. - Michael Cirelli
