Dill Harper can freeze time, but unfortunately, it's a faery gift that only works at the most inopportune moments. Now he's on a case for Harper Security, watching the very delectable ass of Mason Haliday-a man worth having, but one who doesn't want to be had.

When an unknown enemy puts a hit on Mason, Dill is worried. Despite their chemistry under the covers, Mason knows that Dill will not be easy to bring around. How can he convince Mason trust his heart to the man who's been spying on him?

This has to be #1 for the most whacked out story I've read to date. First I'll start off with how popular the Fuck word is in this story.

"You made me hard with all your fuckity fuck fucking"

LMFAO! Priceless and there's much more where that came from.

I think if I had laughed any harder I was have pissed myself and there's more in this story where that came from. Now the whole one freezes time and when touching the other the one freezes while coming undone? That's some serious shite. I can't even imagine having my dick up someone's arse and being froze there. Or can I? Leave that for another time. So we go on to Dill's family and how freakazoid is that? One heals, one turns into furniture, one can read minds and one goes invisible. I think I'd be ready to commit myself to the nuthouse if faced with that. Unreal. Let's not forget to mention Dill's mother who seems to have her own personal obsession with sex toys.

Mia always brings out the mischief and comic relief in her books and you can't help but admire her for that.

Two thumbs up to Mia on another great book.

So while I'm feeling all fangirly (I would rather remain gender neutral, but saying I feel fanny seems a bit offensive to me) I am just going to mention that I absolutely love Mason. The moment he walked into the story, I was like, 'What are these other people that you speak of?'

A seriously hot and riveting character. I usually don't like the type that like to brood broodingly every broody day about the meaning of life or the lack thereof, but I'm willing to forgive even gangrene and bad body odour for Mason.

I guess I just have something for the giant, wall-of-muscle, tattooed-all-over, bike ridin', bar hopin', gang-fightin' kinda fella. Mason oozes bad boy charm and practically screams biker jackets and greasy burgers and retro jukeboxes in this absolutely delicious way <33

There's also this other guy named Dill and there's a plot, but who cares?

Gushing aside, it's not a bad book, but I wouldn't call it a good one either. Not much of Watts' sense of humor, though there are some pretty funny moments. The plot is pretty flimsy, and Mason did irritate me quite a bit because up until the last 10% book he was all NOBODY LOVES ME AND NOBODY EVER WILL. If it had gone on for another 30 pages, I think I would have quitted the book and hurled it at a passer-by.

Like I said, the plot was flimsy because most of it involved Mason's hang-ups, and nobody really wants to read 114 pages of hang-ups or they wouldn't be in the fiction section. Dill's character and part of the story is so little as to be non-existent, which is a good thing for Mason-obsessed people like me, but is not, in general, a good thing.

Some typos, nothing grievous... And yeap, that's about it.

Verdict: It's light and readable and perfect if you're in the mood to read about an angsty bad boy MC.

All the Harper siblings are half-breed faeries, which is how it ended up that the “gifts” they possess tend to operate “faerily imperfectly.” For Dill Harper, his ability to freeze time almost always happens when he doesn’t want it to, while never happening when he does. It gets worse for Dill when he takes on a case for Harper Security that includes watching the drop-dead sexy Mason Haliday. Mason wants nothing to do with Dill, especially when he learns about Dill’s powers. But someone has put a hit on Mason, and whether the tattoo’d, scarred-hearted man wants it or not, Dill’s going to watch his very fine back.

It’s time to watch a third Harper sibling fall head over heels in love in the wickedly sexy Freeze Frame. Poor Dill’s powers backfire on him in the worst of ways, but I was happily along for the ride, eagerly reading along to see things work out for him. As with his brother and sister before him, Dill is a likeable protagonist. It’s easy to fall for him, though perhaps easier for me than it is for Mason. The object of Dill’s affections has been hurt one too many times in the past to risk loving Dill. My heart ached for Mason and I wanted to see Dill break through the walls surrounding his heart. Their romance made me sigh while the love scenes made me blush – a recipe for success if there ever was one. Freeze Frame was a delight through and through and I can’t wait to read the next Faerily Imperfect book!

I'm still not sure if I liked or really liked this book. But anyway. It was good! I still love the 1st book way too much (Sage just blew me away) but this one was good too.

Two things made me enjoy this story a lot:
1)The sexy attraction between Dill and Manson. Talk about sexual frustration. lol But it was hot! A serious turn-on! >_<
2)All the funny/teasing remarks between them. I swear I got this weird kink for characters that even when they are getting it on, they just can't shut up and stop being funny! LOL Comedy smut? Mia Watts has mad skills for it!

Three thing that I didn't like too much.
1)In this book the paranormal detail didn't really got my attention. I expected more to happen with Dill's freezing time skill. It was nice to see the twists happening and all but it just wasn't a main point (or even close to that) for me in this book.
2)Manson's ANGST. Way too much.
3)I'm still not sure how I feel about the ending, it was a bit rushed.

God, I hate that we can't give 1/2 or 3/4 stars. Grrr. But I'll give it 4.

Sage, a half-blood fairy who can freeze time randomly, is tasked to get a DNA sample from a tough biker Mason. Mason is not his type but he’s oddly attracted. When Mason is attacked he saves his life and is tasked to keep an eye on him. Dill finds out that usually when he freezes time everyone has no awareness but Mason did and also if Dill touches him frozen then the skill transfers and Dill freezes and Mason can move in time. Dill is pretty up front with Mason about what he wants and Mason admits he’s attracted but his childhood in the system has taught him not to trust. They work together to find out who is trying to do him in while getting closer. This is a book in a series but you really don’t need to read the others to read it. Sage, his brother was the first book and he’s in this one but his history doesn’t bear on the story much. Their fairy mother is a riot, she’s very open about sex and her kid’s love lives which has them all cringing and was quite funny. I did get a big confused the first time that Dill switched with Mason being frozen but on the whole a fun read with some humour and drama and a titch of angst.

In this installment Dill, brother to Sage from book one in this series, has the ability to freeze time. He's been following a sexy biker named Mason, for a job he's doing, and when Mason is attacked Dill gets involved. In a surprise twist Dill finds that Mason is aware during the times he's frozen, which is strange in itself, but even stranger is when Mason ends up the one frozen by Dill's touch. This back and forth freezing led to some really funny scenes as well as Dill's family was a real hoot. I really enjoyed this entertaining story with it's sexy protags, easy to follow plot, hot sex scenes and funny situations and lines.

So, I have one soft spot for bad, tatooed man as for tall, handsome man that seem hard but are sweet and vice versa. Dill and Mason are two complex and beautiful character and their story is been a bit trouble cause of Mason's past and Dill's ability to freeze time. But their love story is been painfully beautiful because Mason have drop down his shield and trust Dill and understand that love isn't one weakness. Like always Mrs Watts , gift us one splendid and amazing love story.

I love everything this author does, in varying degrees. But this was a favourite. Romantic, hot and original for me. I loved it.

A fine read but I just didn't find any part of the book memorable. I also felt it was rushed and there was one place in which the names were placed in the wrong area.
