Pros:

This a fun but short story that is based on the Flood module (plot point campaign) from Deadlands. Though the book is short and the characters new, their is enough character build-up so that you can appreciate them more. At the same time the book doesn't stall and keeps the action going at a fair pace.

Cons:

This book suffers from real bad editing. The kind of editing like in a movie where in one scene a character is wearing a red shirt, than 30 seconds later, in the exact same scene, he's wearing a blue shirt! In addition, there are quite a few grammatical errors in the book as well.

Great character voice and a good read if you plan on running plot point campaign the book is inspired by. Needed a little more attention from the copy editor. I enjoyed it.

An enjoyable little read. I highly recommend if you're planning to run the Deadlands - The Flood campaign, as it will help flesh out the setting, and some events.
If you're going to be a player in one of those campaigns, I'd suggest reading it after it's over. There are some major spoilers in the book.
