This is an excellent book. The struggles and journey that Carolyn Koons and her son had were simply amazing and page turning. I read this book in two days. I could not put it down. It was riveting and the suspense and excitement, the joys, the highs and the lows kept me reading their journey until the very end of the book. I would recommend for anyone who might be interested in reading an autobiography about the lives of these two unique and special individuals.

What a wonderful story of faith and perseverance! My friend loaned me this book and I truly enjoyed reading it. The author's struggles with her adopted son reminded me of my own similar problems with my adopted son...

In 2009 I said: "A beautiful story of victory and caring. I really appreciated how brutally honest it was. Be interesting to know what happened in the last 24 years." This was written in Africa when google was newish.
