Great book. About a kid and his dad making a cake that the kid thinks no one would want but in the end they’re making it for birds in the back garden. Suitable for children aged 3 to 5.

Jed is extremely excited when his dad decides to bake a cake. However, this is no ordinary cake as dad chooses to use some unusual ingredients. Who is he baking the cake for? Dad’s cake by Margaret Nash is a beautifully illustrated book with large text format which can be suitable for early readers around the age of 5-6 years. This book can be part of a school bookshelf for independent reading or can be used to introduce subject specific knowledge such as cooking recipes and instructional texts.
