As a cancer survivor, I always love to read about the foods I should have been eating/drinking before I actually got the cancer. This book falls into that category. The first part of the book discusses why we should juice (daily) and why we should look after our health (ummm, cancer). It all makes sense, and then we get to the juice combinations, some of which I tried and were fairly tasty.

EQUATOR SHAKE
Pineapple spears
Mango spears
Tomato
Rum

This is my kind of juice!

THE HAWAIIAN TOURIST
Pineapple spears
Papaya spears
Guava
Rum

Definitely my kind of juice!

ISLAND COOLER
Pineapple spears
Strawberries
Sweet apples
Rum

I think you may see where I'm going here!

After looking at this again, it may be time to take out the juicer and get these rocking once more. Good book, learned a lot without it being preachy.

so elaine lalanne was wife of the famous excersise guru jack.

she was big on nutrition and making sure that they ate healthy. I have tried these juicing recipes and I find them tasty and very healthful.

I recommend this to the adult and the teen who is having a hard time trying to eat healthier and live a better life.

Very informative, especially in respect to what each fruit, vegetable, pulp, and recipe is good for. I like that suggestions are given on pairings, otherwise disastrous results could ensue.
