This book is utterly confusing for me. From time to time there are these thoughts coming from the guy with bad intentions and the narrators stating some obvious things. In the end Sherrie doesn't get abducted, starts her new year in highschool, and the mystery guy ceases to exist!The least Joan could have done was tell us the name of the guy!
