I haven't read a sexy paranormal romance in ages and I really enjoyed this. It's the fourth in the series but reads very well as a stand alone as each story is about a different family in Javara. These stories aren't for the faint-hearted; there's a lot of sex in them and often with multiple partners. The descriptions are great though, very much easy to imagine.

It's a very short read. There isn't a great deal of plot but there is enough to push the story along. With this one Kathryn arrives with 2 men from another planet and without spoiling the ending I do wonder which way the stories will go as it felt like you could have a further stand along but also follow a plot from the Earth side. Now I haven't read the first 3 (but I will) so I'm not sure if any of that is the same in those books. Christina, from Book 1 comes from Earth but a different time period to Kathryn so there isn't a follow on there. This makes things a bit interesting. I'm intrigued as to which way the stories will go. Depends on who the tapestry shows up for I guess. Incidentally I could really do with a magic tapestry right now!

Overall I enjoyed this, it made a great change of pace to the crime books I've been reading and I will definitely be going back and reading the rest of these books.

Threads of Destiny by N. J. Walters is book Four in the Tapestries Series. This is the story of Marc and Kathryn. I have read the previous book and feel you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do so. Kathryn is a scientist who is working to save two genetically enhanced super soldiers from death. Danger is near but then Marc comes and transports them to safety for now. Kathryn has feelings for the soldier but there is something more about Marc. Marc has always wanted a women of his own and feels something more with Kathryn but can he convince her that he is enough while trying to keep them safe.

I really like that for the most part the books in this series is slightly different. Now there are three men involved including Marc Garen from the first book. He is a little sad that he doesn't have a woman just for himself. It looks like this book will start another series. Great!

Threads of Destiny
Tapestries #4
N.J. Walters
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kathryn is a scientist who's fighting to save two genetically enhanced super soldiers from death. One night when she goes to the attic she finds an old copy of a book and reads all about the tapestry and how it transports Christina to Jerek and Marc. As she ends up ending the book she feels very sad for the Marc and ends up dreaming of him. Then one night just as everything is about to go wrong and they are facing certain death Marc appears and transports all 4 of them to safety in Jarva.

Marc Garen knows and understands the laws of his world. On Jarva, women are scarce and brothers must share, although only one can be the husband and claim any children as his own. But he is very lonely and longs for a women of his own. Suddenly the tapestry appears and hurls him into what he can only call a violent world. To the woman who has haunted his dreams. To the woman he knows he must claim as his own.

Now three men share Kathryn's bed, all bent on satisfying her every desire. But Marc is resolved to make her his and his alone. Now he has three days to convince her before the tapestry returns.

N.J. Walters brings you the hottest most sexiest installment of the tapestry novels yet. This one involves 3 steaming hot men and one sexy woman. The way this book is written is so incredibly sexy I was riveted to the spot. From page one I could not put the book down. I think I was holding my breath for most of this book as I could not believe what I was reading. I can't wait to see what comes next.

5 Star Threads of Destiny
Marc Garen couldn’t have been happier when the magical tapestry brought his loving bride into his life but their buoyant happiness is a stark reminder of the loneliness that haunts his soul. To save the lives of two men who were part of a scientific experiment, Kathryn Piedmont has put her own life at risk and she’s convinced that their fate is sealed.

The magical tapestry is once again uniting brides with their mates but this time things are quite different in this fantastical and thrilling time travel romance. The characters are strong, vivid and full of passion which makes it easy for readers to become completely caught up in their emotionally gripping experience. The chemistry between Kathryn and the three men is electrical and has sparks flying everywhere but the sparks between Marc and Kathryn is even more so and the story reflects the realism and emotional angst at having to make choices that affect your life permanently.

The plot is fast paced and the story is on the short side but this story has some unique differences from the previous books and also provides more of the legend behind the tapestry and its magic and readers can’t help but enjoy the experience of reading this sinfully delicious and delightful romance.

Threads of Destiny by N.J. Walters is the fourth book in the Tapestry series and is just as good as its predecessors. In this book, we get Marc's story he is lonely, living on the outskirts of the life his brother and Christina have made. But Marc is about to get his happily ever after when Kathryn, and two sexy men, arrive from the future.
Marc wants Kathryn and she comes along with two men. She is a scientist running from a future evil. Kathryn wants Marc and her two companions. Thank goodness Ms. Walters allows Kathryn to get what she wants!
Hot and sexy, but sweet, too. Marc and Kathryn are the right match.
I hope this series continues. I have read and enjoyed all the books in the series.

Wow! Another captivating book in N.J. Walters Tapestries series! We get more background on the tapestry and changes in how it works! We are also treated to more than one person jumping through time in this one and it makes for an interesting scenario!

Kathryn is a scientist who has risked her life to save two genetically enhanced soldiers from certain death. She is fighting the good fight against her father and knows he will be coming for her and the two men. She just needs a bit of peace, so she goes to her attic. It's her special place away from it all. It's there she found books about a wonderfully magical tapestry. Then, she notices an old journal and a tapestry she had not seen before. Having read the other book about Jerek and Marc, she feels back for Marc. The beautiful tapestry she found, shows one man in front of a castle. Gosh she wishes she could just get away from it all! That night she dreams about him.

Hiding out with Logan and Tienan, things get dicey when they are discovered. When things look dire, Marc suddenly appears with the tapestry and ferrets all four safely away to Marc's world.

For Marc, the laws of his world are understandable. Women are scarce. Brothers must share. And only one will be the husband to claim all of their children. Even though Marc and Jarek have Christina, Marc is lonely. He feels Christina is Jarek's and he doesn't belong to her. When the tapestry suddenly whisks him away to an abhorrent world, the woman from his dreams is there, and in danger. He helps get her and her companions to safety.

Katheryn doesn't know what to make of everything. Being a woman of science, it is hard for her to grasp her new reality. But she must as now all three men want her. That is expected in this world. She has three days to decide whether to stay or go back. Marc is hell bent on never letting the woman of his dreams leave him again!

This book was a joy to read! I devoured every word! There was a lot of action and drama throughout. And the sexy scenes were seriously hot! Not conventional in the least, but that is ok. I still enjoyed them! I felt bad for Kathryn. She never really had a life. Always shoved aside and used for what her brain could give. She has a hard time realizing these men want her for her. I loved how the story unfolded, although I did not understand her thought process in thinking about going back!

I can not wait to see what mysteries the tapestry holds next!

I voluntarily chose to review a gifted copy of this book from NetGalley. The rating and review are my opinion.

What a beautiful love story. There are ruthless people trying to kill, Kathryn, Tienan and Logan. Kathryn is an intellectual prodigy. Her IQ is the highest that there has ever been. She is brave and courageous. However, her body is more fragile than her mind. She secretly rescues Tienan and Logan from extermination. They are humans with implants to make a super soldier. But the project was deemed a failure so all the soldiers were to be exterminated. Kathryn finds a journal and a square of cloth that tell the story of another woman who traveled through time and space and found love, acceptance and freedom. Kathryn has never been loved before not even by her father. Tienan and Logan are the only ones that ever shown a tender kindness to Kathryn. She considered them friends. That's why she wanted to save them. When the authorities find out she is harboring them, they come to kill them all. That is when Marc appears in the room they are barricaded in by unknown magic. Marc is from a different world. He arrives by a magic tapestry and saves all three of them transporting them back to his home Castle Garen on Javara. While on Javara, Marc explains Kathryn has a few days before the tapestry will return and when it does, she must choose to stay or go back to her world. Kathryn is convinced she must go back to fight against the corrupt government that is run by the General and her father. At this point in the story no one knows what Kathryn will do. Marc explains about the shortage of women on their planet and how the tapestry has brought other women from earth to Javara. He explains how a woman can have multiple partners but can only marry one. Well the chemistry between Marc and Kathryn explodes but she is also attracted to Tienan and Logan. The three woo her and make love to her. But in the end Kathryn must choose either to stay or go. Tienan and Logan are told they are welcome to stay on Javara. They too must choose to stay or go. An incredible story filled with lust, love, angst and danger. A must read. I highly recommend it. I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.

No surprise, this packed an emotional punch along with some pretty sexy times. Surprisingly though, there was an element of magic that I didn’t see coming. Altogether, this wasn’t a clear cut case. The choice wasn’t obvious, until it was. The flow of the story wasn’t straightforward, until it all made sense. More magical than scientific, with emotions ruling over logic, and a HEA that was a long time coming!

Loved reading the awesome fourth book in the Tapestries series. Marc wants a woman of his own not just the woman he dreams about. Marc finds himself in a different time and the woman of his dreams is there, Katherine, but there are two other men, and then the tapestry brings all of them to Marc's time. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and a must read love story.

Stars: 4

Overall: This was definitely a new and refreshing take on the tapestry bride. I also really enjoyed the fact that we got to learn about the history and the creator of the tapestry. Marc and Kathryn's relationship seemed a little awkward at first for me, but once the stable scene happened, their love started to become believable for me. I really hope the author writes a story for Logan and Tierran because they definitely deserve a happy ending.

The way NJ created a link between the two series is really nice. This is also a new spin about the Tapestry series. I thought Marc will be happy in the first book, but it seems that not every menage couple have equality in their relationship. The action scenes in the first part are really enjoyable, but it wanes down to the many emotional issues between the characters. I miss Tienan and Logan from the Alpha, and I really like reading them again. Overall, this is an enjoyable story.

I really enjoyed this book. This is a sexy story that will have you wishing for your own tapestry! Marc is the gorgeous alpha hero and Kathryn is the love he's been dreaming about. So make a cup of tea, settle in to your favorite chair and lose yourself in a great love story...

I liked the first books but this one was much more disappointing. The menage was not very good and not running smoothly. Each man had sex with the heroine separately even though everyone was in the same bed. And we don't know how Marc and Kathryn can marry after the tapestry takes the other guys when the law states that one woman must have two or three husbands.

Really enjoyed this book a light sexy read. Kathryn and Marc are a wonderful lovable couple. All the men are willing to put the women first, what's not to like about that.

Not at all what I expected. Really liked the men in this story, all willing to do anything for the woman they love...including giving her up to the one she loved.

This was a pretty good book, though slow in some places. I did get through this book rather quickly, so that was a plus. If you enjoy time travel then this book will sure to please.
