Anya Bast is the author of numerous works of romantic fiction, mostly all paranormal and mostly all scorching hot. She lives in the country with her husband, daughter, eight cats, a dog, and an odd assortment of rescued animals.
She grew up in Minnesota and still favors the colder climates. After high school she moved to the southeast United States where she attended college. While in graduate school she sold her first book and decide to pursue her lifelong dream of writing instead of a career in psychology.
Somewhat reclusive by nature, she can be drawn out with a good bottle of red wine, classic movies, or good music. When she’s not writing, she can be found trying to grow organic vegetables, shopping in thrift stores for that perfect piece of clothing, or dreaming about travel to some faraway country.
She’s hard at work on a brand new series for Berkley Sensation right now, while winding up her national bestselling Elemental Witches quartet.
Oh dear, don't know where to start. I liked the idea of the story. However for me there was too much back and forward; she loves him, she doesn't love him. While some parts seemed rushed, the story went on and on and on. I found it tricky to connect with the characters. Angelo did my head in that he didn't believe Bianca. Sometimes I thought it was written as a YA story and the dialogs seemed a bit immature, but there was a lot of sex in it. It was disconnecting with Bianca past that Angelo went in the back door 😮. The worst thing that annoyed me was the C-word. Please don't use the C-word there so many other words for it. Well this one was not for me, but it might be me, and not the story.

This was a rare treat for me - an erotic novel that actually had a plot that existed for a greater purpose than just getting the main characters into bed (or I guess more accurately into each other :D). For a girl that likes a healthy dose of romance in her sci-fi, fantasy, etc, this book was fantastic and I loved every minute of it! Unfortunately the storyline had holes you could drive a hovercraft through and the character development was a little lacking, especially concerning the alien species, so it gets a 3 instead of 4 but still an enjoyable and fun read.
