this book is full of some of the most beautiful quotes i’ve ever read. i couldn’t stop annotating. the story was full of heartache, hope, and love.

julian font’s writing is poetic and lyrical. you can tell that he’s a romantic and that he poured his soul into this story.

i found myself relating a lot to harlow. she was trying to figure out her place in the world. she was scared to take risks. she wasn’t keen on chasing her dreams. her coming into her own was pretty special to witness.

i appreciated that eren had depth and layers. he has a troubled past and it was so gratifying to see him come into his own as well.

eren and harlow have the kind of love you watch in movies and TV shows. the kind that makes you want to feel what’s it’s like to fall in love with someone.

the last 1/4 of the book had me in an emotional chokehold. i had no idea how it was going to end. i loved the found family aspect in this with blake and his son charlie and how they were like family to eren.

if you’re looking for a romance with two characters who are trying to find themselves and end up finding each other regardless that they come from opposite worlds, you’ll love this one.

I am sad to say goodbye to Eren and Harlow. I am a sucker for "perfect place, perfect time" love stories, and the amount of "love" in this story is beautiful. You can tell that Font is a true romantic, and he poured his heart and soul into this project. Our characters' journey will let you know that love takes a lot of work and nothing is perfect, but true love is the closest thing to perfection.

A SOLID 5/5!

Wow. Thank you, Julian, for this incredible work of art.

WRITE MY WRONGS exceeded my expectations and raised my standards for my future 5-star ratings.

If you love redemption stories & slow-burn romances, this book is for you!

_______
This is one of those books that instantly grabs your attention and pulls at your heartstrings. (I was SOBBING during the last 50 pages LOL)

The one word that I can describe this book is “intentional.” I appreciate how there was no fluff to the storyline. Each scene was purposeful, and there is so much to learn from these characters.

Also, there’s a surprise at the end of the book that you do not want to miss out on. I was tempted to peek, but it’ll be more meaningful if you wait until the very end.

This book is a “WINNER”!! 😏(iykyk)

This was such a beautiful book about two people with an incredible connection, who met at the right time when they both needed it the most. I am sucker for romance and mostly when it's right person, wrong time (it was for a moment, but in the end it all worked out.)

Eren's childhood and life was extremely sad, especially his mother's story, so I immediately felt a connection with this character. Harlow was super likeable and in the same way, the way her dad treated her made me very sad. Both coming from broken families, they developed fears and traumas that we saw in the story (such as Eren's addiction to drugs and Harlow's fear of following his path of being a songwriter.) I really liked this aspect because it made their relationship more melancholic and at times hopeless.

The side characters were adorable, starting with Charlie and Blake who deserve the whole world. I don't usually connect with children in books, but Charlie is an exception. 🥹 There were also some plot twists that I didn't expect (IYKYK) 👀

The ending had me in a chokehold and I was prepared for the worst but luckily it had a happy ending. It was a rollercoaster of emotions. I would definitely recommend this book as contemporary romance for those who love to read angsty stories about two people whose lives are totally opposites but at the end find their way to each other against the adversities 🥹

This book made me emotional.

I’m on wine glass 3 as I write this, and my language barriers are up- so be nice 😂

The author’s style was honestly on point. 👌🏻
•Descriptive without being overwhelming.
•Very straight to the point but also enough to paint a picture.
•The characters are well written and that’s not something I say often.
•Character development in here was very good.
•Covered different themes and I love the diversity in that.

The fact that it surrounds music in its themes and has a boatload of song references made me smile. I identify with song choices too- so I loved it.

As a mom it also was nice to see a parent-child relationship display, and it was realistic. I like that Harlow’s parents also evolve through the book and make changes to better their relationship with their kids. Blake is also an amazing father EVEN though he lost his wife to cancer.

Now, bringing up the c word- CANCER…. It wrecked me because I thought FAI was such an awesome character, I wish he would’ve been there til the end of the book. I would’ve loved to see him be a grandpa and get that chance to be fatherly even though he missed out with Eren. He made himself miss out on the dad-life and yet….. I don’t hate him for it. I am a young mom. I didn’t necessarily plan on being one so young. So, I understand how overwhelming it is.
I love that this book embodies forgiveness as a choice and as an act of love.

We need more forgiveness in the world. Harlow and Blake forgive their parents just as Eren forgives Fai.
I also felt like Blake forgave himself for not catching his wife having cancer in time. Life is full of uncertainty and this book had me unable to stop reading.

I’m primarily a smut lover, and this book wasn’t as spicy as my usuals but a good friend told me that some books find you. This book found me for sure, I found it through bookstagram lol I am extremely happy I read it and I hope you liked it as much as me

Firstly, I want to say is, Julian Font you are truly an incredible writer!! So beyond proud of you for writing this masterpiece x
I fell in love with Eren and Harlow and the rest of the characters in this book instantly. I had such an amazing connection with everyone and everything that happened. The plot twists had me speechless, mad, sad just a whole bunch of emotions which I completely loved so much 🖤 The quotes were so beautifully well said, and I love how I felt the real love/connection about both main characters POV!! By far, one of the best books I’ve ever read this year in 2023, I gave this book a 5 star but honestly it’s infinity for me. “Hearts will be tested. Leaps will be taken. Wrongs will be written”.

*4.75* I read this over the Christmas Break but had to sit with it for a second to get my thoughts in order. Still solid, and yes it did make me cry. I suspected the twists a bit before they landed, but they still worked emotionally, and the execution still landed. Eren and Harlow read like broken people who need healing, which is great, but I'm kind of sick of the "controlling parent"/"absent parent" trope that gets used in these types of books--I will say that a lot more thought seemed to go into the use of this trope and the payoff was less "stereotype-y" which was refreshing. I read this in three days, so the pacing was tight and kept me engaged (and I did fall a little bit in love with sweet Charlie) which was nice.

Jesus Christ! Wow. This book is literally the best read thus far this year. I stumbled upon Julian online while he was promoting “Write My Wrongs” through his social medias. He instantly sold me and I purchased the book right away. I started it and was immediately hooked. This book is honestly movie quality and it was so easy to follow along. From the way the characters look and interact with each other to the plot itself. This truly is how you write a novel. On top of that, Eren Gratis has a song on all streaming platforms?! I mean come on! Great job, Julian. This books needs to be all over BookTok.

I can not say enough about this book. I was able to relate to Harlow and how she was trying to find her place in the world. Meanwhile, also being able to relate to Eren on being reserved and holding back opening up to maintain the feeling of being in control of your life. The way Harlow and Eren balance each other so well. I also love the depth that went into Blake and Charlie's backgrounds as well.

You can tell Julian poured his entire heart into creating this world. This book was beautifully written. The lyrics that were included tugged on my heartstrings. You could feel the passion behind them. I can't wait to read more of his work.

Julian Font is my yearly author discovery.

WRITE MY WRONGS is a unique and beautiful story between two opposite at first sight characters.

Eren is a jaded aspiring singer with a loaded past who uses songwriting to express his feelings.

Harlow is a caged bird, dreaming of escaping her Wall Street golden cage and spreading her wings into the unknown.

Music brings them together and music becomes their solace.

The writing is genuine and the plot keeps you on your toes which makes you immerse in the story from page one.

Brownie points for the secondary characters Blake (aka Cupid), and his adorable son Charlie.

Can't wait to read more from this author!

Write My Wrongs is a book about this songwriter, Eren and this Wall Street Prodigy, Harlow who dreams of being a songwriter. They both end up working together on an album and sparks start to fly between them.

I love how this book broke my heart. The last few chapters definitely made me shed a few tears. I loved Eren and Harlow’s chemistry so so much. The music that was HANDWRITTEN by the author was amazing!! I love how there is a backstory to this novel. Julian did such an amazing job with this book. Very much recommend this read!

When I say I wanna book that makes me wanna cry. I didn’t think it would be this one.

Well to near the end I was tearing up.

Okay so 5 stars because the plots were there. The relationship between the characters were interesting, two worlds colliding together and having the same energy. Beautiful. The relationship with the parents, that got to me. Being a parent is hard but supporting your kids, it’s something that we want from our parents. Not to feel pushed away or discouraged.

I recommend tbh

I’m both happy and sad but mostly happy. This book started off slow but at some point I fell for the characters and hard. Harlow was a little weak in the beginning but it made sense. It also allowed for the time and space required to watch her grow into herself. Eren was easy to love from the moment he appeared and after the cards life had dealt him, his hea was so very satisfying. The parents, Blake, Charly, i loved all of them and am happy i got to meet them. This was a really sweet journey and i can’t get over the fact that it was written by a man. I was pleasantly surprised by this.

Julian definitely put so much into the character development. Eren and Harlow’s story just unfolds beautifully. The whole story line is just incredible!

I was NOT prepared to fall in love with this book! Did I one-click buy the paperback after finding Julian font on TikTok, even though I said I’d be committed to my current physical TBR? Absolutely!

I believe this is only Font’s second novel and his writing definitely drew me in and kept me hooked on Eren and Harlow’s story.

This one is a slow burn, contemporary romance. Follow Harlow as she figures out just where she belongs in the world, and more importantly figured out who really has her back in life.

Definitely recommend this one! Not super graphic schmexy scenes, and although it does cover some darker topics you won’t find yourself on a trigger warning spiral!

Oh, and when you make it to the end of the book, Julian has a special touch for the novel!

I don’t even know where to start. The growth of these characters. The way they helped one another through their issues without losing themselves in the relationship. The way that last 25% of the book had me in absolute chokehold. The tears I cried over probably every character (except Jordan because he is scum). Charlie. Oh my gosh, Charlie. And mother loving BLAKE! I loved it all. ALL!

Wow what a beautifully written book. It was so good that I forced myself to slow down to savor it XD.

The story was fast paced and the main character’s journey was heart wrenching but full of hope, and the ending made all the heartache and tears so much worth it.

Absolutely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a romance with some twists and turns.

An absolute page turner.
This novel has a perfect balance between drama, wittiness and romanticism.
Font portrays an astonishing character depth and development. The slow burning romance kept me at the edge of my seat.
Eren had my heart since the beginning, what a beautiful soul. Special mention: Charlie, what a cutie.

I picked this book up randomly when I was at the bookstore, no thoughts put into it at all, just randomly decided to give it a chance... AND IT WAS THE BEST READ I'VE HAD IN A WHILE. You can say I embraced the story's spirit before I even read it ;)

Font's writing is so vivid, it got me feeling everything the characters feel, seeing everything they see, and much, much more. It truly took me to Eren and Harlow's world in a way I have never felt before. This book brought me along the characters' ride like I was right there beside them, feeling the wind blow against my face and feeling heartbroken and defeated when everything seemed to fall apart. I think it will truly be difficult for me to pick another book up after this, because my standards have truly been raised.

Yes. It's THAT GOOD.

The ups and downs, the struggles, the happy moments... you will feel all of that when you read this book. It's so magical that I have nothing but praises for it, truly. The characters are lovable, and they made me laugh despite also making my heart feel like it was being torn apart. The way the relationships between everyone was handled with spectacular care, and I can feel Font's passion seeping through each page. I really recommend anyone who considers picking this book up to do it, because it's an amazing experience.

Lastly, the song included with this is the PERFECT way to wrap up the experience. I don't typically cry at stories, and I while I did cry when I read this book, hearing that song? It made me see everything Eren and Harlow went through together, and it made me bawl my eyes out. And it was in the best way possible.

Seriously, pick this book up, you will not regret it. It's a book so deserving of 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
