The first three novels in New York Times bestselling author Elle Kennedy's Avalon Bay series together in one boxed set.
This boxed set of the first three novels in Elle Kennedy's Avalon Bay series - Good Girl Complex , Bad Girl Reputation , and The Summer Girl - introduces readers to the gorgeous South Carolina beach town/college town of Avalon Bay. Filled with plenty of drama and steamy romance, each book features a different love story with favorite characters from the world.
A New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author, Elle Kennedy grew up in the suburbs of Toronto, Ontario, and holds a B.A. in English from York University. From an early age, she knew she wanted to be a writer, and actively began pursuing that dream when she was a teenager.
Elle currently writes for various publishers. She loves strong heroines and sexy alpha heroes, and just enough heat and danger to keep things interesting!
The Good Girl Complex was one of those books that I flew through in just a few sittings. I enjoyed it, it was fun, entertaining, and easy to get into — even though, yes, it was very predictable.
From fairly early on, I could already guess where the story was going and how things would play out. There were no big surprises or shocking twists, but somehow that didn’t completely ruin the experience for me. The book still delivered exactly what it promised: a light, drama-filled romance with tension, secrets, and just enough angst to keep the pages turning.
I found it to be a great “turn-your-brain-off” read. While it doesn’t break any new ground in terms of plot or tropes, it’s still enjoyable if you’re in the mood for something fast paced and entertaining.
This was okay, I wanted a light quick read and this was exactly that. It’s not mind blowing or impressive by any means, in fact it reminded me quite a lot of ‘After’, but it was enjoyable.
3 separate stories about 6 people who all have horrible parents and how they overcome their horrible experiences with their horrible parents and find love despite their horrible parents. The third book was the best and most endearing and had one set of decent parents.
I didn't know I read Good Girl Complex until I read it again thinking I haven't read it. I love Elle Kennedy because of the Briar U and Off-Campus series. But this doesn't give. I can't remember anything from it.
