The Good Girl Complex was one of those books that I flew through in just a few sittings. I enjoyed it, it was fun, entertaining, and easy to get into — even though, yes, it was very predictable.
From fairly early on, I could already guess where the story was going and how things would play out. There were no big surprises or shocking twists, but somehow that didn’t completely ruin the experience for me. The book still delivered exactly what it promised: a light, drama-filled romance with tension, secrets, and just enough angst to keep the pages turning.
I found it to be a great “turn-your-brain-off” read. While it doesn’t break any new ground in terms of plot or tropes, it’s still enjoyable if you’re in the mood for something fast paced and entertaining.
