This is one of my favourite, fun series, my go-to on a rainy day. This book focuses on Candy, a bit of a brat with anger issues who stars with her parents.
Despite reading the three previous books in the series, I hadn't formed much of an opinion on Candy apart from mouthy brat. In this book we see a lot more of her and her search for her own identity, away from that of her parents.
Candy is probably my least favourite Fashionista.
I also love how each of the four books focuses on a different girl from the model flat. Each of them has a distinct voice, easily recognisible, but each book still retains Sarra Manning's unique style.
My favourite of the series. I love Alfie! I was actually expecting to not like it because I really am not a candy fan however I loved getting to know her better and find out her story and why she was the way she was.
This was a satisfying end to the series (with a sneaky opening inserted at the end for a new one). As always with this series, I enjoyed the character progression, and learning about what makes them tick. This series is great for showing that what people present to the world is really just the top of the Ice berg - so be careful with the judging of others!
Candy is a little **** and I love her. Candy is funny, smart and not the prettiest model of the house but she can hold her own. NO MORE, WHAT? NO NO THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!
