Dancing with Big Eunice: Missives from the Front Line of a Fractured Society

Rate this book
Alistair Findlay's compilation of poems about social work shows the reader that the world they are living in is often shaped by poverty. Not much has been written about the stories that fill social worker's lives, and Findlay offers sad, sometimes absurd, insights. He creates poems for everyone who wants to know what goes on behind closed doors.

I bought this book a few years ago and lent it to a social worker who once worked in the same team as Alistair Findlay. That worker then changed jobs and I never got the book back, so I've just bought it again.

This book beautifully expresses the pain, joy, and humour that is life in a social work team.
